Faedo allowed one run on three hits across 2.2 innings and didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Yankees. He walked one and struck out four.

Faedo was actually fairly effective after allowing a leadoff home run to DJ LeMahieu, but the righty was limited to 40 pitches in his first start in nine days. The Tigers had said Faedo was slated for a multi-inning relief role down the stretch, but he's apparently still in the mix for some spot starts, with his next one potentially set for Sunday against the White Sox. Due to his middling performance so far and lack of a definitive rotation role, the 27-year-old can probably be avoided in most fantasy formats for now.

Bibee did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits and five walks over five innings against Minnesota. He struck out four.

Bibee logged his 14th consecutive start with three or fewer earned runs allowed, but he issued a career-high five free passes, limiting Tuesday's outing to five innings. The standout rookie owns a 10-3 record with a 3.05 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and a 2.87 K/BB ratio across 129.2 innings on the campaign. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next start, which is projected to be on the road against the Angels over the weekend.

Gray did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over six innings against the Guardians. He struck out four.

The veteran righty pitched well Tuesday, save for surrendering a two-run homer to Bo Naylor in the third inning and a sacrifice fly to Myles Straw in the fifth. The quality start was Gray's eighth in his last nine outings, as he has compiled a 2.65 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 54:10 K:BB across 57.2 innings during the impressive stretch. The 33-year-old hurler is tentatively lined up to face the Rays at home early next week.

Eovaldi (forearm) was activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Astros on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old has been sidelined by a forearm strain since mid-July and has finally been cleared to retake the mound for the Rangers, in what will be just his second start since the All-Star break. Eovaldi is returning without going out on a minor-league rehab assignment, so he'll likely have a limited pitch count in his first couple turns through the rotation. Prior to the injury, the right-hander was in the midst of the most effective campaign of his career with a 2.69 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 111:34 K:BB over 123.2 innings.

McKenzie (elbow) completed a bullpen session at Progressive Field on Monday and has been cleared to face live hitters at High-A Lake County on Friday, MLB.com reports.

McKenzie and Shane Bieber (elbow) were both cleared to advance to the next phase of their respective recovery programs after the two experienced no issues during their bullpen sessions Monday. Bieber is scheduled to face hitters Thursday before McKenzie does the same Friday, and if all goes well, the right-handers could get the green light to begin minor-league rehab assignments the following week. Per Brian Dulik of the Associated Press, Francona said McKenzie and Bieber will both be activated from the 60-day injured list once they're capable of handling 85-pitch workloads. Francona offered up Sept. 20 as a tentative target date for both pitchers' reinstatements.

Bieber (elbow) is scheduled to face live hitters Thursday with High-A Lake County, MLB.com reports.

Bieber has been cleared to advance to the next phase of his rehab program for his right elbow injury after he threw an "up-and-down" bullpen session Monday without incident. If his upcoming live session goes well Thursday, Bieber could then be cleared to begin a rehab assignment. Guardians manager Terry Francona said Monday that he's tentatively targeting Sept. 20 for both Bieber and Triston McKenzie (elbow) to make their returns from the 60-day injured list, per Brian Dullik of The Associated Press.

Medina (finger) didn't factor into the decision in the Athletics' 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Blue Jays on Monday, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Medina held Toronto off the board through his first four frames before he was tagged for three runs in the fifth, forcing him out of the game after throwing 70 pitches. The rookie right-hander was likely on a pitch count Monday, as he was making his first start since Aug. 18 in his return from the 15-day injured list. He's now failed to make it through five innings in each of his last four starts, allowing 10 earned runs in that span (15 innings). Overall, Medina sits on a 3-8 season record with a 5.46 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 87:46 K:BB across 14 starts (90.2 innings). He'll look to go deeper in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for this weekend in Texas.

France did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks over five innings in Houston's 13-6 victory over the Rangers. He struck out five.

France struggled early Monday, allowing two runs in the opening frame in an eventual no-decision. After posting a 2.75 ERA through his first 18 starts, France has now surrendered 17 runs in his last three outings (13 innings), pushing his ERA to 3.72 with a 1.31 WHIP and 91:37 K:BB across 121 innings this season. The 28-year-old rookie will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for this weekend against the Padres.

Rodriguez (5-3) earned the win over the Angels on Monday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over six innings.

Rodriguez wasn't as dominant as he was his last time out, when he allowed just one hit over six scoreless frames against the White Sox, but he did demonstrate an impressive arsenal with 17 whiffs and seven punchouts. The right-hander has racked up five consecutive quality starts, posting a 2.32 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 28:8 K:BB over 31 innings during that stretch. Rodriguez struggled mightily early this season, but he's turned things around dramatically following a nearly two-month stint in the minors. Since returning to the Orioles' rotation July 17, he's posted a 2.85 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 48:16 K:BB across 53.2 frames.

Giolito dropped to 7-12 on the season after yielding nine earned runs on seven hits and three walks over three innings while striking out three in Monday's 20-6 loss to the Twins.

Giolito was making his Guardians debut after the team snagged him off waivers from the Angels. Things went off the rails quickly, as he coughed up three home runs, including Royce Lewis' grand slam in the second inning. Since being traded by the White Sox, Giolito has produced a brutal 8.58 ERA in seven starts between the Angels and Guardians. His season ERA has jumped to 4.88 across 156.2 frames. Giolito is currently projected to face his former team, the Angels, on the road this weekend.
