Manning (1-2) allowed nine runs on nine hits across 3.2 innings to take the loss Monday against Cleveland. He struck out two and did not issue any walks.

The lack of walks is nice, but it was otherwise a forgettable outing for Manning, who gave up both a two-run home run and a three-run bomb. The rookie was better in his first two MLB starts, allowing a total of four runs across 10.2 innings. However, he now has just six strikeouts in 14.1 MLB innings after logging an 8.07 ERA in seven Triple-A starts, so he has not been dominating in the manner he did at Double-A in 2019 (2.56 ERA in 133.2 innings).

Bundy left Monday's game against the Yankees in the second inning due to heat exhaustion.

Bundy struggled mightily before departing, recording five outs while allowing two runs on four hits. Fortunately, the illness doesn't sound like a major concern, and after getting a few days to recover, he should remain on track to make his next turn through the rotation Sunday versus the Orioles.

Bundy was removed from Monday's game against the Yankees due to an apparent illness, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports. He allowed two runs on four hits over 1.2 innings before leaving.

Bundy fell ill while on the field and threw up behind the mound before exiting with team trainers. The severity of the illness is not known at this time.

Bieber (shoulder) had a quick examination that went well Monday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Bieber has been out for two weeks after suffering a shoulder strain. His first evaluation went well, but he'll be evaluated again in a few days before the team provides a clear timeline for his return.

Maeda won't start as scheduled Monday against the White Sox since the game was postponed due to rain.

The 33-year-old was originally slated to start Saturday before that contest was postponed, and another postponement will push his start back another day. Maeda will pitch Tuesday in Chicago, with the rest of the rotation pushed back a day, per Dan Hayes of The Athletic.

Giolito won't start as scheduled Monday against the Twins since the game was postponed due to rain.

The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader July 19. According to Scott Merkin of MLB.com, Giolito will take the mound Tuesday versus Minnesota, pushing back Dylan Cease at least a day.

Springs was charged with a blown save in a loss to the Angels on Sunday, allowing a hit and a walk over one-third of an inning while also recording a strikeout.

The southpaw allowed a game-tying triple to Shohei Ohtani upon entering in the seventh, leading to his second blown save of the season. Despite the stumble Sunday, Springs has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy managers and the Rays alike, forging a 4-1 record, 3.24 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, two saves and eight holds across 32 appearances.

Angels manager Joe Maddon said Sunday that Suarez could be moved into the rotation at some point this season, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.

After an ugly showing in the 2020 campaign during which he gave up 10 runs in just 2.1 innings, Suarez has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround this season, posting a 2.05 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB across 22 innings out of the bullpen. The left-hander credits his success in part to better conditioning, and he explained through an interpreter that he "lost a lot of weight" in the offseason. His strong campaign has opened the eyes of Maddon and others in the organization to the point that a move to the rotation is a strong possibility. "We've talked about how he could help us this year," Maddon said. "We believe that, no question. That's definitely on the horizon. We've been trying to utilize him in different moments and keep him kind of stretched out so that when we do choose to do something like that, it's not gonna be a great add on regarding his workload regarding number of pitches. But everybody pretty much believes the same thing: that this guy is going to be a starter."

Milone (shoulder) worked in an inning of relief in his first rehab appearance for Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, surrendering two earned runs on one hit and three walks.

Making his first appearance in a game setting since May 1, Milone was unsurprisingly rusty. He needed 34 pitches to record three outs and threw more balls (18) than strikes (16). Prior to landing on the 10-day injured list with left shoulder inflammation, Milone had been filling a relief role for the big club, but the Blue Jays could look to have him build up his innings count while he's out on the rehab assignment. Toronto's rotation depth has taken a hit in recent weeks with Nate Pearson getting shut down with a groin injury.

Baz tied a season high with 10 strikeouts across five innings in his start Sunday for Triple-A Durham. He gave up two hits and issued no walks in the 71-pitch outing.

The Rays have deliberately capped Baz's pitch counts in each of his first three starts at Triple-A, but the 22-year-old right-hander hasn't been phased by the move to the higher level. He was named the Triple-A Player of the Week after striking out 15 while permitting one run in 10 innings across his two starts. Between stops at Durham and Double-A Montgomery, Baz has accrued a 2.12 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 69:5 K:BB in 46.2 innings. A 2021 call-up to the big leagues isn't out of the question for Baz, particularly if the 47-32 Rays fancy themselves as World Series contenders.
