Kluber (1-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Orioles after tossing 6.2 innings of one-run ball, allowing six hits and two walks while fanning five.

Kluber picked up his first win of the season Tuesday and delivered a dominant performance. This was the first time he pitched more than five innings in a game and also the first time he recorded a quality start, which is something huge for a player that has been slowed down heavily by injuries since the end of the 2018 season. Kluber still owns a 4.15 ERA across five starts, but this was certainly a step in the right direction. The veteran is slated to take the ball Sunday at home against the Tigers.

Javier (3-0) pitched seven scoreless innings to earn the win over Seattle on Tuesday. He allowed two hits and three walks while striking out six.

The right-hander made things look easy again, allowing only a pair of hits -- both to Kyle Seager -- and preventing the Mariners from reaching third base. He completed seven innings for the first time in his career and stretched his streak of consecutive scoreless frames to 17. Javier's ERA now stands at a sterling 0.87 through 20.2 innings, and he has complemented that minuscule mark with a 26:6 K:BB. The second-year emerging star will look to continue his hot streak when he faces the Rays on the road Sunday.

Gonzales (1-3) took the loss against Houston on Tuesday, pitching six innings and allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four.

Gonzales wasn't quite as effective as in his prior outing, when he yielded only one run across seven innings against the Dodgers, but he repeated the unenviable feat of taking a loss in spite of registering a quality start. The southpaw held Houston scoreless in each inning except the fourth, when the Astros put up the only pair of runs in the game. The positive takeaway is that Gonzales appears to have fully turned things around after a poor start to the campaign in which he gave up 12 earned runs across his first 10.1 frames. He'll face Baltimore at home in his next scheduled start Monday.

Quintana (0-2) took the loss Tuesday at Texas, going 3.1 innings and allowing five runs, six hits and two walks with two strikeouts as Los Angeles fell 6-1.

Quintana served up home runs to Nick Solak in the first and Joey Gallo in the third before allowing three straight baserunners in the fourth, which ended his day. He's now failed to complete four innings pitched in three of his four starts with Los Angeles.

Urena (1-3) allowed two runs (one earned) across seven innings to pick up the win Tuesday against the White Sox. He gave up seven hits and three walks while striking out two.

True to form, Urena didn't rely on overpowering stuff, but he was able to keep a tough Chicago lineup in check and pick up his first win in a Tigers uniform. A lack of strikeouts typically limits his fantasy appeal, but Urena does now have a solid 3.77 ERA through five appearances, and he's allowed exactly two earned runs in each of his past four starts. The righty will look to keep rolling against the Yankees on Sunday.

Maeda (1-2) took the loss Tuesday at Cleveland after giving up five runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and zero walks over 5.2 innings.

It was another rough outing for the veteran right-hander, as he surrendered three solo home runs and two RBI doubles Tuesday. Maeda has yet to find his groove this season with a 6.56 ERA, 1.76 WHIP and 20:5 K:BB through 23.1 innings. He'll attempt to turn things around early next week versus the Rangers.

Civale (4-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Twins after giving up four runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and zero walks over 7.2 innings.

The 25-year-old was on the cusp of completing eight strong innings, but he was pulled after surrendering a solo homer to Byron Buxton with two outs in the eighth inning. It's the first time through five starts this season Civale has allowed more than three earned runs, and he now has an impressive 2.94 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 30:9 K:BB across 33.2 innings.

Odorizzi is expected to miss 2-to-3 starts after being cleared of any structural damage in his right forearm Tuesday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

The 31-year-old was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right pronator muscle strain after exiting Saturday's start against the Angels, but he's not expected to face a lengthy absence. Odorizzi could rejoin the rotation during the second week of May if his recovery progresses as expected.

Ryu (glute) may get an extra day of rest but is not expected to miss a start this weekend against Atlanta, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

He will likely start either Saturday or Sunday after exiting is last start Sunday against the Rays with a minor right glute strain. Ryu has a 2.60 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 26:3 K:BB in 27.2 innings this season.

Lynn (back) will start Saturday's game against Cleveland, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

He was originally slated to return Friday, but apparently the White Sox want to keep Dallas Keuchel on normal rest, so it will be a Saturday activation for Lynn. He has a 0.92 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 27 strikeouts in 19.2 innings over three starts.
