Kremer (0-1) took the loss against the Yankees on Tuesday, surrendering three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five over three innings.

Despite working his way into a first-inning jam by loading the bases with no outs, Kremer struck out the next three Yankees to finish off the inning blemish-free. Cole (1-0) earned the win by twirling seven scoreless frames with 13 strikeouts against the Orioles on Tuesday, allowing four hits and no walks.

Coming off a solid Opening Day start during which he notched eight strikeouts, throwing 62 of his 97 pitches for strikes, Cole put his brilliance on full display against Baltimore, sending 13 batters down swinging while throwing 71 of 97 pitches for strikes. In fact, Cole's 13 strikeouts marked a regular-season high in a Yankees uniform. Meanwhile, the right-hander's strong outing lifted New York to its 12th straight home victory against the Orioles. Cole will look to remain in the win column on the road Monday at Toronto.

Bundy took a no-decision during Tuesday's loss to the Astros, striking out 10 across six innings while allowing two runs on four hits and a pair of walks.

Bundy looked sharp for the second straight start. The only damage against him came in the form of back-to-back solo home runs by Kyle Tucker and Aledmys Diaz in the second inning. Despite the strong performance, the game was tied when Bundy left, leaving him winless (0-3) in his career against the Astros. The right-hander, who has tallied 16 strikeouts across his two outings thus far, made this start sooner than anticipated after Griffin Canning was scratched due to having warmed up in the bullpen Sunday. He'll look to keep things rolling Tuesday at Kansas City.

Greinke did not factor into the decision during Tuesday's win over the Angels, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four across seven innings.

The 37-year-old looked solid once again, limiting the damage to a two-run home run off the bat of Mike Trout in the first inning. Greinke blanked the Astros over the next six frames, leaving the game with the score tied, 2-2. The right-hander was making his 461st career start, the most among active pitchers. He'll look to notch his 210th career win Monday against Detroit.

Mize gave up one run on five hits and two walks over four innings during Tuesday's extra-inning win over the Twins. He had four strikeouts and didn't factor in the decision.

The 23-year-old wasn't particularly efficient, as he needed 82 pitches to record 12 outs, but he limited the damage by surrendering only one extra-base hit. Mize should continue building up his pitch count as the season progresses, and he'll make his next start at Houston on Monday.

Rodriguez (arm) has been confirmed as Thursday's starter against the Orioles, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

This was widely anticipated after manager Alex Cora said earlier in the day that Rodriguez would likely return during the upcoming series against Baltimore. Cora said that the team thinks Rodriguez is sufficiently built up to pitch unrestricted Thursday, so he could very well go deep enough to get the win after recently completing a simulated game and a bullpen session.

The strong outing leaves Houck as the next man up if a rotation spot opens up again at some point, but his stay in the big-league bullpen is expected to be a brief one. Cora intimated that Houck will likely be optioned to Triple-A Worcester at some point in the next few days.

Rodriguez's upcoming start will represent his first regular-season appearance since Sept. 29, 2019, as he missed the entire 2020 campaign while recovering from cardiac-related complications from COVID-19.

Quintana gave up four runs on five hits and three walks while fanning five across 3.1 innings against the Astros on Monday. He didn't factor into the decision.

Quintana didn't have his best stuff -- he tossed only 46 of his 86 pitches for strikes -- and was unable to get out of the fourth inning, but the bullpen picked him up and spared him the loss by allowing just two runs across 5.2 innings. It's been years since Quintana was relevant for fantasy as anything more than a streamer, and that doesn't appear likely to change this season. With the Angels utilizing a six-man rotation, his next start is scheduled for next Monday on the road against the Royals.
