Giolito (1-1) picked up the win in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Brewers, giving up two runs on four hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out nine.

After a rough first outing of 2020, Giolito has righted the ship quickly, posting consecutive quality starts with a 15:5 K:BB over 12 innings in his next two trips to the mound. The right-hander will look to keep rolling Sunday in a home start against Cleveland.

Means (0-1) took the loss Tuesday as the Orioles were downed 4-0 by the Marlins, giving up one run on two hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

The left-hander was engaged in a surprising pitching duel with Pablo Lopez through four innings, but Means got tagged for a solo shot off the bat of Francisco Cervelli in the fifth, and the Baltimore offense never got on track. It was still a much better outing for Means than his season debut, and he'll look for a better result in his next start Sunday, on the road against the Nationals.

Teheran (not injury related) will start against the Mariners on Wednesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Teheran missed most of summer camp and the start of the regular season after a bout with COVID-19, but he has apparently built up enough to be ready to take the mound Wednesday. The start will mark Teheran's debut with the Angels after nine seasons with Atlanta, though he isn't likely to be ready to take on a full starter's workload. Teheran registered a 3.81 ERA and 1.32 WHIP over 174.2 innings with the Braves last season.

Bieber (3-0) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over 7.2 innings in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

The Reds got to Bieber for a pair of solo homers -- the first home runs Bieber has allowed this season -- but that was the extent of the damage. Bieber had 23 called strikes and 18 swinging strikes on 106 pitches, and now sits tied with Gerrit Cole and Sonny Gray atop the wins leaderboard. Cleveland's No. 1 starter is solidifying his place among the elite and will look to keep it going this weekend in a road matchup against the White Sox.

Singer (0-1) took the loss against Chicago on Tuesday, pitching five innings and allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight.

The strikeout total was impressive for Singer, but he was stung by a pair of two-run home runs to account for all four runs against him. The right-hander has logged exactly five innings in each of his three starts this season, and four of the 13 hits against him have left the park. Through three starts, Singer has registered a 4.80 ERA and 1.27 WHIP along with an 18:6 K:BB over 15 innings. He'll face a potent Minnesota offense at home Sunday in his next scheduled start.

Lynn allowed one run on three hits and three walks with seven strikeouts in 6.1 innings versus the Athletics on Tuesday. He did not factor in the decision.

Matt Chapman's game-tying solo shot in the seventh inning was the first run against Lynn in three starts this year. Needless to say, the 33-year-old righty has been dealing so far in 2020. He's racked up 24 strikeouts in 18.1 innings, while pitching to a 0.49 ERA and 0.82 WHIP. Lynn will try to get back in the win column at home versus the Angels on Sunday.

Luzardo pitched five scoreless innings versus the Rangers on Tuesday, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five in a no-decision.

Luzardo showed good command in this game -- his first MLB start -- tossing 48 of his 76 pitches for strikes. Unfortunately, the Athletics' offense didn't do enough to earn him a win. The 22-year-old owns a 2.31 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with a 12:5 K:BB through 11.2 innings this season. His next turn in the rotation is expected to come Sunday versus the Astros.

Morton (1-1) allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out five across 5.2 innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Morton held Boston's lineup in check, with the only major damage he surrendered coming on a solo home run by Mitch Moreland. Perhaps most importantly, Morton saw his velocity tick up, as he he sat between 93 and 94 mph for much of his start. Morton has a 5.52 ERA through 14.2 innings this season, though that is inflated by his first start when he surrendered six earned runs. His 14:2 K:BB suggests better results are on the way, and he'll look to deliver in his next start, currently projected for Sunday against the Yankees.

Eovaldi (1-1) allowed four earned runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six across five innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Rays.

Eovaldi shut the Rays down through 3.2 innings, but allowed a walk, single, and double consecutively to account for two runs in the fourth frame. He then allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base in the fifth inning -- including a triple to Austin Meadows -- accounting for the final two runs he surrendered. More positively, Eovaldi did rack up strikeouts on the strength of 12 swinging strikes on 85 total pitches. Through three starts, Eovaldi has managed a 3.94 ERA with a 14:3 K:BB across 16 innings. He's scheduled to take the mound next Monday in a rematch against the Rays.

Berrios (1-1) earned the win Tuesday versus the Pirates after allowing one run on four hits over six innings. He had six strikeouts and three walks.

The right-hander had a rough start to the season as he allowed five runs Opening Day, but he surrendered only three runs on seven hits over his past two outings. Berrios has a 4.80 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and a 13:6 K:BB through three starts this season, and he next lines up to pitch Sunday at Kansas City.
