Milone is scheduled to work as the primary pitcher against the Astros on Sunday following a to-be-determined opener, the Associated Press reports.

The veteran left-hander was effective in his latest turn, a traditional start against the Tigers in which he allowed two runs over five innings. Milone has been more effective as a reliever overall this season, posting a 3.86 ERA, .212 BAA and .289 wOBA in 39.2 bullpen frames.

Gibson allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts across 6.2 innings while earning a victory against the Royals on Saturday.

The Twins spotted Gibson plenty of runs, which allowed Minnesota to give Gibson a bit of a leash. He pitched well but also longer into a game (by pitches) than he has all season, throwing a season-high 110 pitches. Since giving up five runs to the Yankees on July 23, Gibson has yielded two runs in his last 12.2 innings (1.42 ERA). He owns a 4.02 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 124 strikeouts in 123 innings this season. Gibson will pitch again Thursday against the Indians.

Bundy allowed two runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Blue Jays. He struck out seven and did not factor in the decision.

Bundy exited after giving up a single with one out in the sixth inning and was in line for the victory, but the bullpen was unable to protect the lead. The 26-year-old has a 5.15 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 112:38 K:BB over 108.1 innings and has a tough matchup with the Astros next weekend.

Gonzales (12-9) took the loss Saturday as the Mariners were blanked 9-0 by the Astros, giving up four runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings while striking out two.

The southpaw got touched up for three runs in the first inning and while Gonzales was able to right the ship, his fate was sealed as four Houston pitchers ended up combining for a no-hitter. He'll carry a 4.32 ERA and 101:35 K:BB through 139.2 innings into his next start Friday, at home against the Rays.

Sandoval will be called up from Triple-A Salt Lake to start Monday at Cincinnati, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Sandoval was scratched from Saturday's start for Salt Lake and will instead make his way to the majors for his big-league debut. The 22-year-old was promoted to Triple-A in early May but has struggled in the Pacific Coast League with a 6.41 ERA, 1.98 WHIP and 66:35 K:BB through 60.1 innings.

Lynch (arm) returned from his rehab assignment Saturday but will head to Low-Burlington for now, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Lynch spent most of the season with High-A Wilmington, posting a 3.09 ERA in 11 starts before landing on the injured list with a sore arm in early June. He'll presumably be back at that level soon but will drop down to Low-A for now.

Heaney (shoulder) could return to the big-league rotation after throwing a 60-pitch sim game Monday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

We may not get confirmation on when he will return before lineups lock next week, but a return Saturday or Sunday in Boston seems like a distinct possibility. Heaney has a 5.09 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB in 46 innings this season. His 33.1 percent groundball rate, 9.6 percent walk rate and 1.76 HR/9 are all notably worse than his career norms.

Kluber (forearm) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment Thursday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

He was apparently sitting around 88-89 mph with his fastball in a 35-pitch sim game Saturday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. It is unclear where he will begin his assignment, but he is on track to return to the big-league rotation in late August or early September.

Kluber (forearm) successfully threw a 35-pitch simulated game Saturday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Kluber threw all of his pitches against Double-A hitters and felt well afterwards, admitting that he's passed the point of feeling hesitant when throwing. The 33-year-old is nearing a rehab assignment that would put him on pace to rejoin the Cleveland rotation later this month.

Means (biceps strain) will start Wednesday against the Yankees, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

He logged a 4.23 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 19 strikeouts in 27.1 innings over his five starts prior to landing on the injured list. The Yankees rank 12th in the majors with a 101 wRC+ against left-handed pitchers.
