Andrew Heaney RP | LAD
Angels' Andrew Heaney: Logs another solid outing
Heaney (4-5) picked up the win against the Blue Jays on Friday, scattering nine hits and giving up one earned run over seven innings. He struck out four and walked none in the 2-1 victory.
Heaney has had a couple of hiccups over his last five starts, giving up five earned runs on both June 11 and May 31, but he's having a terrific season, with a 3.43 ERA and 1.12 WHIP over 78.2 innings. He hasn't been providing eye-popping strikeout totals, but he's made up for it thanks to those solid ratios. His command has been an especially impressive aspect of his recent run, as Heaney is sporting a 22:4 K:BB over those last five outings.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Throws six scoreless innings in no-decision
Keuchel struck out six in six scoreless innings Friday against the Astros, giving up two walks and six hits in a no-decision.
After a few rough outings in which he gave up 16 earned runs across 16 innings in three starts, Keuchel has now had back-to-back starts without allowing a run. The lefty has brought his ERA back under 4.00 and carries a 1.31 WHIP while sporting a middle-of-the-road .265 batting average against. His next start will be a matchup at home against the Blue Jays.

Alex Cobb SP | DET
Orioles' Alex Cobb: Strong effort in Friday's no-decision
Cobb didn't factor into the decision in Friday's extra-innings win over the Braves, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out six.
The right-hander threw 70 of 107 pitches for strikes in delivering his sixth quality start of the season, but Cobb exited the game with the score knotted at 1-1 before both bullpens fell apart, leaving to an eventual 10-7 final in 15 innings. He'll carry a 6.56 ERA into his next outing Wednesday at home against the Mariners.

Shane Bieber SP | TOR
Indians' Shane Bieber: Stifles Tigers in Friday's win
Bieber (2-0) picked up the win in Friday's 10-0 victory over the Tigers, allowing four hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings while striking out nine.
The rookie was helped out by a couple of double plays behind him, but for the most part Bieber was in complete control, throwing 63 of 97 pitches for strikes and generating 18 swinging strikes. He continues to pull ahead of Adam Plutko in the battle for Cleveland's fifth starter spot, and Bieber will carry a 2.45 ERA into his next outing, currently set for Wednesday in St. Louis.

Chris Bassitt SP | BAL
Athletics' Chris Bassitt: Takes loss in nightcap
Bassitt (0-3) took the loss in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the White Sox, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk in 5.1 innings. He struck out four.
Bassitt lived in the strike zone (55 strikes in 78 pitches) but paid for it, revealing that the two-start beginning to his 2018 campaign was a bit of a mirage. Still, as a streaming play, Bassitt still has some cred in deeper leagues and might gain more if he can keep his early control gains going (three walks in 16.1 innings so far). He'll continue to fill the void left by Trevor Cahill (Achilles) however long he's sidelined. Bassitt next figures to start on the road against the Tigers on Wednesday.

Lucas Giolito SP | SD
White Sox's Lucas Giolito: Logs win in nightcap
Giolito (5-7) earned the win in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the A's, going seven innings while allowing four runs, seven hits and two walks. He struck out eight.
The strikeout column makes this performance look a bit nicer for fantasy purposes, and Giolito overall was sharper than usual, as he fired 69 strikes in 100 pitches and completed seven innings for the first time this season. The righty has fanned 15 in his last two starts (12.1 innings), but he's faced Detroit and Oakland in those and still allowed nine runs. The 23-year-old still has work to do but might eventually develop into a more valuable fantasy arm as the season wears on. He's expected to toe the rubber next against the Twins on Thursday.

Deck McGuire SP | TOR
Angels' Deck McGuire: Added to big-league roster
McGuire was promoted from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander, who was just acquired by the Halos on June 9, will likely settle into mop-up duty left behind by the demoted Eduardo Paredes. McGuire carries a 6.48 ERA in 8.1 major-league innings this season but showed promise in eight starts for Toronto's Triple-A Buffalo (3.22 ERA, 8.1 K/9, 3.8 BB/9) before swapping organizations.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Rangers' Martin Perez: Set for rehab outing Monday
Perez (elbow) will embark on a minor-league rehab assignment Monday with Low-A Hickory.
As expected, Perez will head down to the minors for action after throwing a pair of live batting practice sessions earlier this week. The left-hander is likely going to require a multi-game rehab assignment so don't expect him to return to the Rangers until the first week in July.
