Kevin Gausman SP | CHC
Orioles' Kevin Gausman: Making rehab start Sunday
Gausman (shoulder) will make a rehab start at Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Eddie Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Gausman was initially slated to throw Saturday, but he'll instead take the hill Sunday as he continues to work back from a shoulder injury. Barring a setback, the plan is for Gausman to make a start at High-A Frederick next Friday.

Taijuan Walker SP | LAA
Mariners' Taijuan Walker: Receives no decision
Walker allowed two runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and no walks in six innings Friday in the Mariners' home opener against the Athletics.
Walker, who did not receive a decision in the loss, had some trouble with his command -- he gave up seven hits in five innings before retiring the side in order in the sixth. A couple errors led to an elevated pitch count, as well, and he was done after 100 pitches. He escaped with only two runs allowed thanks to a couple inning-ending double plays and a couple timely strikeouts. It was a decent season debut, but he wasn't dominant.

Luis Severino SP | ATH
Yankees' Luis Severino: Lackluster Outing For Severino
Severino allowed three runs on 10 hits, he did not walk a batter, and struck out five over five innings of a 4-0 loss to Detroit on Friday afternoon.
It was a lackluster season debut for Severino who needed 95 pitches (66 for strikes) to get through the five innings. Of note, just one of the 10 hits allowed went for extra bases - a double by Ian Kinsler - but he struggled a bit to put away hitters efficiently. It doesn't get any easier as he is expected to take on Toronto in the Rogers Centre next time out.

Vance Worley SP | NYM
Orioles' Vance Worley: Named starter for Sunday
Worley has been announced as the Orioles starter for Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
The Orioles had yet to officially announce their starter for Sunday, but Worley and Tyler Wilson were the primary candidates to take the hill for the series finale against the Rays. Worley will get the nod, at least this time through the rotation, but his status as a starter could very well be tied to how his outing goes Sunday.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Working on maturity
Desiring to take his game to another level, Stroman has been working on breathing techniques with a doctor to help keep his emotions in check while pitching, the Toronto Sun reports.
Stroman has been known to wear emotions on his sleeve while on the mound, something that many would argue is not the best way to go about pitching. It's encouraging that youngster has taken it upon himself to address his erratic energy levels, and it shows great maturity. Toronto's ace also noted that he's been working on his quick pitch to keep runners from getting good jumps off him.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Serves in setup role Thursday
Bundy pitched a scoreless eighth inning Thursday with a one run lead to earn a hold in Baltimore's win over the Twins.
Bundy backed into the eighth inning with Zach Britton getting the night off and Darren O'Day serving as the closer. It appears Brad Brach and Mychal Givens were also given the night off, and while Bundy had a good spring, it is not expected that he will figure into seventh or eighth inning hold situations with regularity.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Yankees' Nathan Eovaldi: Strikes out seven, but allows five runs
Eovaldi gave up five runs on six hits while striking out seven batters through five innings against the Astros on Thursday. He didn't receive a decision in the eventual win.
That 7:0 K:BB looks nice, but even without walking a batter, Eovaldi managed to throw 94 pitches in five innings. Much of the damage came on a pair of homers, a relative rarity for the righty -- he allowed just 10 in 154.1 innings last year despite how friendly Yankee Stadium is for lefty power hitters. Eovaldi throws hard, but has never been able to put together that fantasy-friendly combo of strikeouts and run prevention. At 26, he still has room to take a step forward, but his development does seem to have stalled. Eovaldi's got a tough matchup against the high-powered Jays next Wednesday.

Corey Kluber SP | BOS
Indians' Corey Kluber: Next start pushed back to Tuesday
Kluber is no longer listed as a probable pitcher for this weekend's series with the White Sox following the postponement of Thursday's game against the Red Sox.
Kluber was set to make his second start of the week Sunday, but Thursday's rainout, coupled with a team off day Monday, means his next start is now scheduled for Tuesday in Tampa Bay. While Kluber will not get two start this week, he should next week barring any further postponements.

Lance McCullers SP | MIL
Astros' Lance McCullers: Will start minor league rehab Monday
McCullers (shoulder) will make his first rehab start at Double-A Corpus Christi on Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
McCullers has been dealing with shoulder soreness since the middle of March, but his rehab seems to be progressing as planned. He is expected to throw two or three innings in his first rehab start and is still on track to return to the Astros in late April.

Lance McCullers SP | MIL
Astros' Lance McCullers: Expected to pitch in minor league game
McCullers (shoulder) is expected to pitch in minor league games early next week, setting him up for a return to the Astros in late April or early May, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reports.
McCullers threw a 30-pitch simulated game Wednesday, apparently completing the session without incident. He'll still need to head out on a rehab assignment, but he could be available in the majors by mid-to-late April, potentially knocking Scott Feldman or Doug Fister from the rotation.
