  • Patrick Corbin SP | TOR

Rangers' Patrick Corbin: Allows three runs in no-decision

Corbin did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 win over the White Sox, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with six strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Corbin yielded two solo home runs and was in line for the loss until the Rangers mounted a ninth-inning comeback. The veteran southpaw has quietly delivered a steady campaign, allowing three earned runs or fewer in each of his nine outings this season. He owns a 3.75 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 38:16 K:BB across 48 innings and lines up for a home matchup with the Cardinals next weekend.

  • Davis Martin SP | CHW

White Sox's Davis Martin: Logs quality start in no-decision

Martin did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 5-4 loss against the Rangers, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts over six innings.

Martin surrendered a two-run homer in the second inning but was in line for the win until the Rangers mounted a ninth-inning comeback. The 28-year-old has now delivered three straight quality starts and has surrendered three earned runs or fewer in eight of 11 outings this season. He'll carry a 3.45 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 38:16 K:BB across 62.2 innings into a road matchup with the Orioles next weekend.

  • Red Sox's Walker Buehler: Decent in loss

Buehler (4-2) took the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.

Buehler managed to make it through five innings after he was ejected in the third in his last start. The right-hander pitched well, allowing just a pair of runs, but the Red Sox failed to generate much offensively against Dean Kremer in an eventual 5-1 defeat. Buehler's ERA sits at 3.95 with a 1.20 WHIP and 36:13 K:BB across eight starts (41 innings) this season. He's currently in line for a road matchup in Atlanta in his next outing.

  • Dean Kremer SP | MIN

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Blanks Red Sox in fourth win

Kremer (4-5) earned the win Sunday over the Red Sox, allowing seven hits and a walk across 5.1 scoreless innings. He struck out four.

Kremer's now allowed seven or more hits in each of his last three starts, though he was able to work out of trouble to hold Boston scoreless Sunday en route to his first win in four outings. Kremer sports a 5.02 ERA with a 1.39 WHIP and 44:16 K:BB across 11 starts (61 innings) this season. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the White Sox in his next outing.

  • Tarik Skubal SP | LAD

Tigers' Tarik Skubal: Fires complete-game shutout

Skubal (5-2) pitched a complete-game shutout Sunday against the Guardians, striking out 13 and allowing two hits and no walks across nine innings.

The left-hander pounded the zone with 72 of his 94 pitches going for strikes, and he induced 26 whiffs while carrying a perfect game into the sixth inning. Skubal showed no signs of slowing down either, as he hit 102.6 mph on his final pitch of the game to punch out Gabriel Arias. It's the first complete-game shutout of his career and is his fourth scoreless outing of 2025. He now has a 2.49 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 92:7 K:BB across 68.2 innings this season as he continues to build his case as arguably the top pitcher in MLB.

  • Athletics' Jeffrey Springs: Gives up two homers

Springs allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings in a no-decision Saturday versus the Phillies.

Springs turned in a baseline quality start, thanks to the Phillies' first run being unearned. He also gave up solo shots to Alec Bohm and Kyle Schwarber later in the contest. Springs has given up eight runs (seven earned) over 30.2 innings in May, though his 20:7 K:BB is a bit underwhelming. He's now at a 3.97 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 47:23 K:BB through 59 innings over 11 starts. Springs' next outing is projected to be on the road versus the Blue Jays.

  • Jose Soriano SP | TOR

Angels' Jose Soriano: Struggles versus Marlins

Soriano (3-5) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out one over 4.2 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Marlins.

Soriano threw 97 pitches (52 strikes) in the outing, which saw him fail to complete five innings for the first time since April 22 versus the Pirates. The right-hander has walked at least three batters in four straight starts, though he hasn't given up more than three runs in any of those outings. He's now at a 3.73 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 47:30 K:BB across 62.2 innings over 11 starts this season. Soriano's walk rate (4.3 BB/9) is too high to sustain success in the long run. He is projected to make his next start at Cleveland.

  • Red Sox's Lucas Giolito: Bounces back with quality start

Giolito finished with a no-decision in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against Baltimore, allowing six hits and two walks while striking out six batters over seven scoreless innings.

All six of the hits Giolito served up were singles, and the right-hander didn't let any runner reach third base. The veteran hurler completed seven frames for the first time this season and picked up his third quality start through five appearances. Giolito has alternated good and bad outings so far -- the quality starts have come in his first, third, and fifth appearances while he allowed a combined 12 runs over 7.2 frames in his second and fourth starts. He'll look to snap that trend the next time he takes the mound, which is lined up to be a road matchup in Atlanta.

  • Trevor Rogers SP | BAL

Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Back to minors after sterling debut

The Orioles returned Rogers to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports. He pitched 6.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision against Boston in the Orioles' 2-1 win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, allowing two hits and recording five strikeouts without issuing any walks.

Rogers posted an ugly 8.10 ERA across four starts with Triple-A Norfolk prior to being called up Saturday, but none of those struggles showed up in his MLB season debut. The southpaw allowed just two hits -- both singles -- and threw 56 of 87 pitches for strikes while recording a first-pitch strike to 18 of the 22 batters he faced. The effort wasn't rewarded with a victory -- neither team scored until the eighth frame -- but it may result in Rogers getting more opportunities in the rotation in the near future. Rogers' move back to Triple-A following Saturday's outing was a result of him being summoned as the 27th man for the twin bill, and Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun suggests that the hurler has a good chance of being called up again next week to potentially make another start.

  • Hunter Dobbins SP | STL

Red Sox's Hunter Dobbins: Fans seven in four frames

Dobbins allowed four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over four-plus innings in a no-decision against Baltimore in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday.

Dobbins yielded two runs in the first inning but got through the next three frames unscathed. The right-hander was pulled after allowing the first two batters he faced in the fifth to get a hit, and both runners came around to score after his departure. Dobbins didn't have a great final line, but he did notch an impressive 14 whiffs on just 72 pitches (51 strikes) while posting a career-best seven punchouts. While his ERA sits at a mediocre 4.21 on the campaign, Dobbins has shown flashes of excellence and holds a strong 32:6 K:BB through 36.1 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face Atlanta on the road in his next start.
