The Brewers placed Woodruff on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to right shoulder inflammation, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Manager Pat Murphy said after Woodruff departed Saturday's start against the Diamondbacks that the right-hander is dealing with an inflamed labrum, so his move to the IL isn't a surprise. The 33-year-old dealt with a similar injury earlier this season that led to a "dead arm" feeling and sidelined him for six weeks, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, with the return of a cyst being a possible cause for why Woodruff is experiencing that sensation once again. It's unclear how long Woodruff is expected to be out this time around, but he's likely to be shelved for well beyond the 15-day minimum. Woodruff has been effective this season with a 2.98 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 47:10 K:BB across 45.1 innings, but the shoulder problems continue to limit his availability.

Atlanta optioned Ritchie to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Ritchie's stay with Atlanta lasted just one day, with the 23-year-old righty working out of the bullpen in Saturday's 14-3 win over the Mets and striking out four over three scoreless innings en route to collecting his first career save. Atlanta called up Carlos Carrasco from Triple-A in a corresponding move while Ritchie slots back into the rotation at Gwinnett.

Greene (0-1) took the loss against the Orioles on Saturday, allowing eight runs on seven hits and four walks with seven strikeouts over 3.1 innings.

Greene allowed a three-run homer in the first inning before being charged with five runs while recording only one out in the fourth. On the bright side, he generated an impressive 15 swinging strikes on 89 pitches in his first start since undergoing elbow surgery in March. He'll look to continue shaking off the rust in one final start before the All-Star break, which lines up as a home matchup with the Cubs next weekend.

Yamamoto (9-5) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven shutout innings to earn the win over the Padres on Saturday.

This was Yamamoto's second scoreless outing of the season. He's also logged five straight quality starts since the beginning of June, giving up just seven runs over 35.1 innings in that span. The right-hander is now at a 2.49 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 100:21 K:BB through 104.2 innings over 16 starts this season. Yamamoto is lined up for a fairly favorable matchup at home versus the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Canning (1-6) allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four over four innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Saturday.

Canning did fine in this bulk-relief outing, which shielded him from facing the top half of the Dodgers' order an extra time. He still came away with the loss as the Padres' bats came up cold. The right-hander has allowed eight runs over 13.1 innings with an 11:8 K:BB over his last four games. Overall, he has a 6.71 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 50:30 K:BB through 51 innings over 12 appearances (nine starts) this season. Canning looks like he'll still be a rotation option next week, as Randy Vasquez (ankle) is out at least through the All-Star break. Canning's next appearance is projected to be at home versus the Diamondbacks, though it's not yet clear if that will be a traditional start or another outing following an opener.

Sullivan (0-3) took the loss against San Francisco on Saturday, allowing six runs on 12 hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 5.2 innings.

Sullivan was brought up from Triple-A on Saturday to make the start after Tomoyuki Sugano landed on the IL due to back spasms. Sullivan had posted an 8.64 ERA across four starts prior to being recalled, and that number got even worse after Saturday's outing. The left-hander was knocked around for a career-worst 12 hits, eight of which (seven doubles and a home run) went for extra bases. Sullivan has given up five or more runs in over half of his starts so far and has yet to notch an MLB victory. Still, he could make at least one more start in place of Sugano given Colorado's lack of other rotation options.

Alcantara (10-4) allowed one run on six hits, a walk and a hit batsman while striking out eight over eight innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Alcantara was in workhorse mode, throwing 70 of 100 pitches for strikes. This was his fourth start of at least eight innings this season. He's been superb lately, winning seven straight starts while allowing 18 runs (16 earned) over his last 48.1 innings. Alcantara is at a 4.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 92:33 K:BB through 123.2 innings over 19 starts this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Guardians.

Ray (8-6) earned the win over Colorado on Saturday, completing six innings and allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four batters.

All of the runs Ray surrendered came on a Cole Carrigg three-run homer in the first inning. The lefty hurler bounced back nicely after that rough first frame, retiring 14 of the final 18 batters he faced. Ray registered his fourth consecutive win and quality start, though this was his least effective outing during that stretch. He now has a 3.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 86:46 K:BB over 101.2 innings spanning 18 appearances this year.

Kelly (6-8) allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings to earn the win over the Brewers on Saturday.

Kelly lost all five of his starts and had a 7.31 ERA in June, but he was able to get back in the win column in his first July outing. The veteran right-hander limited the damage to a two-run home run by Christian Yelich in the fifth inning Saturday. Kelly is now at a 5.71 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 53:35 K:BB across 86.2 innings through 15 starts on the year. His next start is projected to be on the road in San Diego.

Imanaga (5-7) took the loss Saturday against the Cardinals, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Imanaga had plenty of swing-and-miss stuff going, fanning eight and generating 16 whiffs, but he was still inefficient with 86 pitches on the evening. Saturday disrupted a seven-start streak of at least five innings for the 32-year-old left-hander, who also tied a season high in walks. Imanaga is next lined up for a relatively tough assignment at hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, holding a 4.28 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 100:26 K:BB over 103 innings.
