Kelly was removed from his start in the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Dodgers with an apparent injury, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports. He departed with a 2-1 lead and allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out three over 5.1 innings.

Kelly appeared to be walking gingerly off the mound and had only tossed 88 pitches, so his departure looks to be injury-related rather than a managerial decision. Since Kelly was at least able to head to the dugout under his own power, he wouldn't appear to be dealing with a significant injury. The Diamondbacks may have just been exercising some caution with the right-hander ahead of the All-Star break. Expect manager Torey Lovullo to provide an update on Kelly's condition after the contest.

Eickhoff allowed two runs on six hits in 2.2 innings versus Pittsburgh on Sunday. He struck out none and did not factor in the decision.

Eickhoff served as the primary pitcher behind opener Aaron Loup in Sunday's contest. There was little trouble for Eickhoff in his first two innings, but Rodolfo Castro and Michael Perez each took him deep for solo home runs in the fifth inning. The 31-year-old right-hander has allowed seven runs in 12.2 innings this season, with two of his three major-league appearances coming as a starter.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Anderson experienced shoulder soreness during his start in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Marlins and will likely require a stint on the 10-day injured list, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

After giving up no more than three runs in any of his last four outings, Anderson didn't have his best stuff Sunday, giving up four earned runs on six hits and five walks over 3.1 innings to take his fifth loss of the season. The team plans to send Anderson in for further testing Tuesday with the hope the right-hander is merely dealing with fatigue, but Snitker believes the youngster could be contending with a more serious issue. A firmer diagnosis on Anderson should become available within the next few days, but for now, fantasy managers should plan on him missing his next turn through the rotation, even with the benefit of the upcoming All-Star break.

Lopez (5-5) earned the win Sunday versus Atlanta. He allowed three runs on five hits and two walks with nine strikeouts in six innings.

Lopez made MLB history by becoming the first pitcher to strike out nine straight batters to start a game. While he dominated the first time through the order, Atlanta got on the board in the fourth inning. Dansby Swanson added a solo shot in the sixth, but it didn't stop Lopez from recording his first quality start since June 25. The 25-year-old has done well with a 3.03 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 111:25 K:BB across 101 innings this season. He'll look to maintain that momentum while likely starting during a four-game series versus Philadelphia coming out of the All-Star break.

The Padres placed Darvish on the 10-day injured list Sunday with left hip inflammation.

Darvish was previously removed from his most recent start Thursday against the Nationals due to back and hip tightness, but follow-up tests revealed that the latter injury was the main concern. The right-hander's move to the IL will leave him unavailable for Wednesday's All-Star Game, and the timing of the transaction also means that Darvish won't be eligible to pitch for the Padres until their fourth game of the second half July 19 in Atlanta. The Padres will wait and see how Darvish's inflamed hip responds to rest over the next few days before the club determines whether he'll need to be replaced in the rotation coming out of the All-Star break.

Wainwright's start against the Cubs was postponed Sunday.

The veteran's first half is over. He pitched 105.2 innings across 17 starts and posted a 3.58 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. With John Flaherty injured, Wainwright has been the undisputed ace of an injury-plagued rotation and figures to start the Cardinals' first game after the break next Friday.

Falter was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Sunday due to contact tracing, but he has not tested positive, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Falter was placed on the injured list after potentially being a close contact to Alec Bohm (COVID-19), the only Phillies player to have tested positive to this point. If he continues to test negative and takes the other required steps to work through the league's health and safety protocols, Falter could return shortly after the All-Star break.

Nola was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Sunday as a result of contact tracing, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Nola was scratched from his start Sunday but has not tested positive for COVID-19. Assuming he continues to test negative and is able to pass through the league's health and safety protocols, he could return shortly after the All-Star break.

Williams will not start Sunday after the game against St. Louis was postponed, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

The righty takes a 5.51 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP into the All-Star break. It's unclear whether Williams will be in the Cubs' rotation for the second half or if Jake Arrieta (hamstring) will replace him once healthy.

Sanchez will serve as a bulk reliever Sunday against the Red Sox, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Sanchez was recalled Sunday as the Phillies are without several of their pitchers due to contact tracing. Brandon Kintzler will start the game and is expected to face the first four batters. Sanchez will relieve him and should work several innings.
