Jerad Eickhoff SP | PIT
Phillies' Jerad Eickhoff: Won't throw for three weeks
Eickhoff (biceps) will be shut down for at least three weeks, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
He was placed on the injured list with biceps tendinitis Monday. If he won't throw for three weeks, that means he won't be returning to the big-league rotation until at least late July.

Kenta Maeda SP | NYY
Dodgers' Kenta Maeda: Cleared to start Sunday
Maeda (hand) is listed as the Dodgers' probable starter for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
The report confirms that the comebacker that Maeda took to his right hand in his previous start Monday against the Giants isn't viewed as a concern. The Dodgers built in an extra day of rest for Maeda as a precaution, but unless the team suggests otherwise, the 31-year-old isn't expected to face any restrictions in his return to the mound. Maeda has posted a 4.62 ERA over his last five outings, but a 0.87 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 25.1 innings during that span suggest that he's pitched better than his ERA indicates.

Chase Anderson RP | TEX
Brewers' Chase Anderson: Roughed up by Reds
Anderson (3-2) took the loss Friday as the Brewers fell 11-7 to the Reds, coughing up six runs on five hits and two walks over five innings while striking out six.
It was by far the right-hander's worst outing of the year, but it continued a stretch of poor performances. Over his last six starts, Anderson has stumbled to a 6.43 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 1.9 HR/9 despite a solid 30:8 K:BB over 28 innings during that stretch. He'll try to turn things around Thursday in a home start against the Mariners.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: Sharp in fifth win
Wacha (5-3) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four in a 5-1 victory over the Angels.
The right-hander buckled down nicely after Justin Upton laced an RBI double with one out in the first inning, and Wacha ended up delivering his fourth quality start of the season -- and second in three outings since returning to the rotation. He'll take a 5.59 ERA and 60:36 K:BB through 66 innings into his next start June 28 in San Diego.

Sonny Gray SP | BOS
Reds' Sonny Gray: Fails to go five
Gray struggled Friday night against the Brewers, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks over 4.1 innings, giving up two homers in the process.
On one hand, it's a disappointment that he didn't last long enough in the game to earn a win. On the other, he was pretty lucky to allow just four runs despite giving up 10 baserunners and the two homers.

Eric Lauer SP | LAD
Padres' Eric Lauer: Suffers tough loss
Lauer (5-7) allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits with one walk and four strikeouts while taking a loss against the Pirates on Friday.
The left-hander pitched well against the Pirates for the second time this season, but an unearned run in the seventh helped hand him the loss. That's three straight losses for Lauer, but at least he pitched much better in this outing than his last two. He has a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 63 strikeouts in 81.1 innings this season. His next start is scheduled against the Cardinals at home Friday.
-
Joe Musgrove SP | SD
Pirates' Joe Musgrove: Strikes out eight in win
Musgrove (5-7) allowed one run on five hits with eight strikeouts and no walks across seven innings to earn a victory against the Padres on Friday.
This was the 26-year-old's best outing in more than a month. He's really struggled lately, but Musgrove had everything working Friday. The only blemish on his record was a solo homer from Manny Machado. Musgrove has a 4.57 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 69 strikeouts in 84.2 innings this season. He will look to build upon this outing in Houston on Thursday.
-
German Marquez SP | SD
Rockies' German Marquez: Takes no-decision
Marquez allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits while striking out eight over eight innings in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Dodgers. He did not factor in the decision.
Marquez was engaged in a pitchers' duel with Walker Buehler for a majority of the game. The strong outing saw Marquez improve to a 4.32 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 111 strikeouts in 110.1 innings this season. His record remains at 7-3, and he's expected to face the Giants on Wednesday.
-
Walker Buehler SP | SD
Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Fans 16 in complete-game win
Buehler (8-1) pitched nine innings and allowed just two runs on three hits while striking out 16 as he earned the win in a 4-2 victory over the Rockies on Friday.
Buehler only allowed solo homers to Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon in the contest. The 16 whiffs were a career high for the 24-year-old right-hander, giving him 100 strikeouts in 91.1 innings. He takes a 2.96 ERA and 0.86 WHIP into his next start against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Braves' Dallas Keuchel: Yields four runs in debut
Keuchel (0-1) allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits with three strikeouts and no walks across five innings while taking a loss during his 2019 major league debut against the Nationals on Friday.
The left-hander threw 99 pitches, but Keuchel appeared to wear down in the final two innings of his outing. He looked fairly sharp in the first three frames, stranding baserunners in all three innings, but the Nationals broke through thanks in part to an error in the fourth and scored again in the fifth. Keuchel begins his Braves tenure with an 0-1 mark and 5.40 ERA. He will make his second start of the season at the Cubs on Wednesday.
