Johnny Cueto SP | LAA
Giants' Johnny Cueto: Delivers quality start in Saturday win
Cueto (3-0) picked up the win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks over six innings while striking out three.
He settled into a groove after Corey Seager took him deep for a two-run shot in the first inning, and while Cueto wasn't dominant, he still provided his fifth straight quality start to begin the season. The right-hander will take a sparkling 0.84 ERA into his next outing Friday in Atlanta.

Alex Wood RP | ATH
Dodgers' Alex Wood: Takes loss in Saturday's nightcap
Wood (0-3) took the loss in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Giants, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four.
The left-hander got staked to a 2-0 lead before he even took the mound but couldn't make it stick, fading late after holding the Giants at bay for four innings. Wood's 30:3 K:BB in 35 innings remains strong despite a superficially mediocre 4.11 ERA, and he'll keep looking for his first win of the season Thursday in Arizona.

Joey Lucchesi RP | LAA
Padres' Joey Lucchesi: Cruises to easy win Saturday
Lucchesi (3-1) picked up the win over the Mets on Saturday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over 5.2 innings while striking out six.
The left-hander threw only 79 pitches (43 strikes) before getting the early hook after surrendering a two-run homer to Yoenis Cespedes, but with the Padres in firm control of an eventual 12-2 win, manager Andy Green elected not to push his rookie pitcher too hard. Lucchesi will take a stellar 2.78 ERA and 35:10 K:BB through 32.1 innings into his next start Friday at home against the Dodgers.

German Marquez SP | SD
Rockies' German Marquez: Takes loss Saturday despite quality start
Marquez (1-3) took the loss against the Marlins on Saturday, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and three walks over six innings while striking out six.
The right-hander threw 70 of 113 pitches for strikes in recording his second quality start of the season. Marquez's 5.46 ERA and 1.58 WHIP are far from useful for fantasy purposes, but he'll try to keep whittling them down in his next start Friday on the road against the Mets.

Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Cardinals' Jack Flaherty: Takes loss Saturday
Flaherty (0-1) allowed three earned runs on four hits while walking four and striking out two across five innings to take the loss Saturday against the Pirates.
Flaherty's start was a mixed bag as he pitched better than his final line will indicate, with the biggest problem being that he lost his command and walked the last two batters he faced. Those runners were ultimately allowed to score, and Flaherty's line was inflated as a result. However, this was by no means his best outing as he allowed a home run and relied on three double plays to get out of jams, so his line wasn't completely undeserved. It remains unclear whether Flaherty will have the opportunity to redeem himself, an answer that will likely be determined by Adam Wainwright's health.

Trevor Williams RP | TEX
Pirates' Trevor Williams: Pitches well in win
Williams (4-1) allowed two earned runs on four hits while walking two and striking out two across six innings to earn the win Saturday against the Cardinals.
Williams gave up a lot of hard contact early in the start but settled in to complete another strong outing. He has hardly been dominant -- he has just a 23:17 K:BB ratio -- but has limited hard contact against him to just 27.5 percent, among the best marks in the league. His current results won't last, but if he can continue to limit hard contact, his skill set may align with pitcher-friendly PNC Park.

Patrick Corbin SP | TOR
Diamondbacks' Patrick Corbin: Fans seven in no-decision
Corbin allowed three runs on seven hits and one walk across 6.2 innings in a no-decision against the Nationals on Saturday. He struck out seven.
Corbin continued his impressive start to the season Saturday, turning in his fourth quality start in what was his sixth effort. He was tagged for seven hits, but the 28-year-old was able to limit the damage to a pair of homers -- a two-run homer from Ryan Zimmerman in the third inning and a solo shot from Howie Kendrick in the sixth. His seven strikeouts were actually a season low, as the southpaw is fanning opponents at an impressive 12.4 K/9 clip through 40 innings. Corbin will carry a shiny 2.25 ERA and 0.75 WHIP into his next start, which is set for Thursday against the Dodgers.

Walker Buehler SP | SD
Dodgers' Walker Buehler: Picks up first win as big-league starter
Buehler (1-0) picked up the win after allowing two runs on six hits and one walk across five innings in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Giants. He struck out six.
Buehler started off shaky in this one -- allowing two runs in the first inning on a trio of singles, a walk and a wild pitch -- but he was able to settle in from there and blank the Giants over his next four innings of work. His offense helped him out with eight runs through the first three innings, so the 23-year-old was able to cruise to his first win as a major-league starter. While Buehler now owns an impressive 1.80 ERA and 11:4 K:BB through two big-league starts (11 innings) this season, he'll head back to the minors after serving as the 26th man for the doubleheader as the Dodgers look to limit his workload.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
Cubs' Jose Quintana: Throws seven scoreless against Brewers
Quintana (3-1) allowed just two hits and one walk over seven scoreless innings in a win over the Brewers on Saturday. He struck out seven.
The lefty's dominance of Milwaukee continued -- as Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes, Quintana is now up to 24 consecutive scoreless innings against the Brewers. Quintana has given up a total of 17 earned runs in 13.2 innings against his three other opponents so far this season, but he's posted a 14:2 K:BB in his last two starts, which should help restore the confidence of fantasy owners. He lines up to face the Cardinals in St. Louis his next time out.

Joe Musgrove SP | SD
Pirates' Joe Musgrove: Will begin rehab assignment Tuesday
Musgrove (shoulder) will join High-A Bradenton for a rehab assignment Tuesday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
Musgrove has yet to make his Pirates debut while battling a shoulder injury. He'll start out by throwing just three innings and is expected to make four starts while ramping up to a full starter's workload. Assuming each start comes on four days' rest, he'd be lined up to start for the Pirates in their series with the Reds that runs May 22 to 24.
