Jack Flaherty SP | DET
Cardinals' Jack Flaherty: Called up ahead of start
Flaherty was called up Saturday in order to make his scheduled start against the Pirates.
Flaherty is needed in the Cardinals' rotation with Adam Wainwright (elbow) on the disabled list. It's unclear how many starts he'll get, as there haven't been any reports that Wainwright's issue is particularly serious. Flaherty made one start for the Cardinals earlier this year, allowing one run on six hits and a walk over five innings, striking out nine.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Brewers' Wade Miley: Decision coming Sunday
Miley (groin) will be called up by the Brewers or let go Sunday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Miley suffered a groin strain in late March and has been rehabbing at Double-A Biloxi. He's looked good through three starts there, tossing 11.2 innings with a 3.09 ERA and striking out 30.4 percent of batters while walking just 4.4 percent. It appears likely that the Brewers will add him to their roster, either as a fifth starter or in a long-relief role. If they don't, he'll be able to opt out and sign elsewhere.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Pirates' Tyler Glasnow: Shows better control Friday
Glasnow threw three scoreless relief innings against the Cardinals on Friday, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out four.
He kept his team within striking distance as it turned a 5-0 deficit into an extra-inning victory. Glasnow threw 67 percent of his 33 pitches for strikes -- representing his best mark of 2018. He also struck out the side in order in the eighth inning. The 24-year-old is making impressive strides toward becoming a major-league pitcher after two initial seasons of struggle. Expect him to get another look as a starting pitcher later this year.

Antonio Senzatela RP | MIL
Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Gets win in long relief
Senzatela (2-1) threw 3.2 innings of scoreless relief to get the win Friday, striking out four while issuing one hit and one walk.
Senzatela came on in relief when starter Tyler Anderson exited in the second with an injury. Senzatela was terrific, allowing only two baserunners across 3.2 innings and driving in the only run on an RBI double. The young right-hander has had a few rough outings which have inflated his ERA, and he's currently sporting a .311 batting average against. Friday's performance was certainly a step in the right direction, but Senzatela figures to remain in a middle-relief role for the time being.

Jose Urena SP | LAA
Marlins' Jose Urena: Takes loss despite quality start
Urena (0-4) allowed one run on six hits in Friday's loss to the Rockies, tallying five strikeouts and one walk in seven innings.
Urena had one of his better starts of the season, but still ended up with the loss due to the Marlins' hitters being shut out. In six starts, Urena has now had two quality starts and currently sports a 4.91 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. Urena is coming off a solid 2017 campaign in which he went 14-7 with a 3.82 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. He'll look for his first win next week in a matchup at home against the Phillies.

Hyun-Jin Ryu SP | TOR
Dodgers' Hyun-Jin Ryu: Strikes out seven against Giants
Ryu gave up two earned runs on four hits over 5.2 innings, striking out seven and walking none in a no-decision against the Giants on Friday.
Ryu struggled in his first start of the season, but he's been pretty much lights-out ever since and he now sports a 2.22 ERA and a 0.85 WHIP through 28.1 innings. He'll look to keep it rolling in his next start Wednesday, though he'll have to deal with some tough hitters in a potent Arizona lineup in order to do so.

Jacob deGrom SP | TEX
Mets' Jacob deGrom: Dominates in win over Padres
DeGrom (3-0) got the win over the Padres on Friday, scattering five hits and allowing no runs over 7.1 strong innings while striking out eight and walking three in the Mets' 5-1 victory.
It was smooth sailing again for the right-hander, who now has a brilliant 2.06 ERA and 1.04 WHIP through 39.1 innings. He's in the midst of a particularly dominant streak, as he hasn't given up an earned run over his last 14.1 innings and has an 18:5 K:BB over that time. He'll try to tame a hot-hitting Braves lineup in his next start Wednesday.
-
Luis Castillo SP | CHW
Reds' Luis Castillo: Lasts just one inning against Twins
Castillo lasted just one inning in a no-decision against the Twins on Friday, giving up five earned runs on six hits with no strikeouts and two walks as the Reds eventually prevailed 15-9.
Castillo's rough start to the season persisted against Minnesota as he allowed eight baserunners and five runs before exiting the contest after the first inning. He now has a brutal 7.85 ERA and 1.67 WHIP, a disappointing follow up to what was an excellent initial foray into the big leagues last year when he posted a 3.12 ERA and 98 strikeouts over 89.1 innings. It's still early, so there's always the chance he overcomes this rough start, but until he shows some signs of improvement it's hard to trust him for fantasy purposes. He'll try to get his season on track in his next start against the Brewers on Wednesday.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Fans seven in Friday's loss
Strasburg (2-3) took the loss against the Diamondbacks on Friday, giving up five runs on six hits and two walks over 6.1 innings while striking out seven.
A.J. Pollock was his nemesis on the night, hitting a solo homer off Strasburg in the second inning and an RBI triple in the sixth, but the right-hander's numbers were otherwise fairly strong as he generated 16 swinging strikes in 103 pitches. He'll take a 3.63 ERA into his next start Wednesday at home against the Pirates.

Tyler Anderson SP | LAA
Rockies' Tyler Anderson: Could work out of bullpen Saturday
Anderson was pulled from Friday's start against the Marlins due to dizziness and shortness of breath, but was cleared by team doctors after the game, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Anderson showed discomfort on the mound prior to exiting in the second inning of Friday's 1-0 victory over Miami. The 28-year-old indicated he is willing to come out of the bullpen Saturday after the Rockies used five relievers to cover 7.2 innings due to his early departure.
