Keller (1-5) took the loss Tuesday as the Pirates fell 2-1 to the Mets, giving up two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out eight.

The strikeouts were a season high for Keller, who delivered his second straight quality start and sixth of the campaign on 96 pitches (65 strikes), including 32 called or swinging strikes. The right-hander hasn't gotten into the win column since March 28 due to consistently poor offensive support -- the Bucs have scored only 15 runs combined in his last seven trips to the mound, a stretch in which he's posted a 3.40 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 35:11 K:BB over 42.1 innings. Keller lines up to make his next start at home early next week against the Reds.

Berrios allowed five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four in 5.1 innings Tuesday against the Rays. He did not factor into the decision.

Berrios was tagged for four runs in the third, including a two-run homer by Jonathan Aranda. Berrios retired the side in order in the second, fourth and fifth innings and appeared to be on his way toward another quality start, but a leadoff single and then a one-out walk in the sixth ended his day. Tuesday marked the first time Berrios has allowed five runs since his season debut, and it was his fifth outing with at least three walks. Berrios hasn't had a BB/9 over 2.5 since the shortened 2020 COVID season but this year his BB/9 is at 4.2. He's in line for a tough test this weekend when the red-hot Tigers come to town.

Baz allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six in 4.2 innings Tuesday against the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

Baz jumped out to a great start by retiring seven in a row while striking out four. His second time through the order wasn't as successful, as Bo Bichette and Daulton Varsho took him deep in the third and fourth frames. Baz failed to make it to five innings for a second straight outing and has struggled after a really strong beginning to the season. Over his last five starts, Baz owns a 7.88 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 19:12 K:BB. He'll aim to bounce back in a road matchup versus the Marlins this weekend.

Knack (2-1) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out eight over 4.2 innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Athletics.

Knack was taken deep twice by Jacob Wilson in this contest, and that ended up being more than enough to stick the right-hander with his first loss of the year. He's posted a 5.89 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 20:8 K:BB across 18.1 innings over five appearances (four starts) in the majors. The strikeout totals are tantalizing, but he'll need to improve his run prevention to earn widespread interest in fantasy. Knack could have been at risk of losing his place in the Dodgers' six-man rotation when Clayton Kershaw (toe) returns to action Saturday, but Roki Sasaki (shoulder) landed on the injured list Tuesday, so Knack's role should be safe for now. Knack is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Diamondbacks next week.

Springs (5-3) allowed a run on six hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Dodgers.

Springs put together his longest outing of the season and looked excellent against a tough opponent. This is the third time in nine starts he's limited an opponent to one run or less. The left-hander trimmed his ERA to 4.27 with a 1.38 WHIP and 36:21 K:BB across 46.1 innings over nine starts. Springs' performance isn't at his peak yet -- he's striking out batters at a career-worst rate (7.0 K/9), and his 4.1 BB/9 is his highest since 2019. Still, he's getting the job done despite the flaws. Springs is tentatively projected for a road start versus the Giants this weekend.

Pfaadt (6-3) allowed four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three over four innings to take the loss versus the Giants on Tuesday.

A Christian Koss grand slam in the second inning accounted for all of the runs on Pfaadt's line. His two shortest starts of the season have come across three outings in May, but he sandwiched 6.1 scoreless innings versus the Dodgers between those poor performances. Overall, Pfaadt is now at a 3.73 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB through 50.2 innings over nine starts. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Dodgers as he looks for a repeat performance of his last matchup with them.

Woo didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Yankees after allowing four hits and no walks in 6.1 shutout innings. He struck out six.

Woo fanned at least six in his fourth consecutive start, submitting his second scoreless outing of the year in the process. The hard-throwing right-hander has fired at least six innings while conceding two runs or fewer in five of his eight appearances this season, also yielding one walk or less in six of his starts. Woo holds a stellar 2.84 ERA, 0.89 ERA and 50:8 K:BB across 50.2 innings ahead of his next scheduled outing against the White Sox, who rank last in batting average (.214) and slugging percentage (.321) through their first 41 games.

Fried didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Seattle after allowing one run on four hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out five.

Fried wasn't very efficient, throwing just 57 of his 91 pitches for strikes, and Tuesday marked just the third time this year that he didn't hurl at least six innings. Even so, the star left-hander has worked at least five innings while giving up one run or zero in seven of his last eight outings. Fried boasts a 1.11 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 52:13 K:BB over 56.2 innings ahead of his next scheduled outing versus the Rangers, who have a dismal .623 OPS against left-handed pitching through their first 42 games.

Ray (6-0) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out nine over six innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Ray gave up all three runs in the first inning. While he didn't completely shut things down after that, he kept Arizona at bay, allowing the Giants to build an insurmountable lead. This was Ray's fourth straight quality start as well as his third consecutive win. The southpaw is now at a 3.04 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 55:26 K:BB across 50.1 innings over nine starts. After two campaigns riddled by injuries (Tommy John surgery and a hamstring injury), Ray is healthy and pitching effectively, despite a troublesome 4.6 BB/9. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Royals.

Soriano allowed two unearned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Tuesday.

Soriano was able to complete seven innings for the third time this year, turning in a strong performance. It wasn't flawless, as he walked at least three batters for the fifth time in nine starts. The Angels' bullpen would go on to deny him the win, leaving him winless over his last six outings. He's been better in his last three starts, giving up five runs (three earned) across his last 18 innings. Overall, Soriano's at a 3.46 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 42:23 K:BB over 52 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Athletics.
