Quintana came away with a no-decision in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out four.

The veteran southpaw once again had trouble keeping the ball in the park as he served up solo homers to Ketel Marte and Lourdes Gurriel in in the first inning. Quintana has been taken deep eight times in his last five starts, leading to a 5.13 ERA despite a 1.18 WHIP over that stretch. He lines up to take the mound next during the Mets' trip to London this weekend to face the Phillies.

Sproat allowed just one hit and one walk over seven scoreless innings while striking out a career-high 10 for Double-A Binghamton on Sunday.

The 23-year-old right-hander has actually gotten better since being promoted from High-A Brooklyn in mid-May. Over four starts for Binghamton, Sproat has posted a dazzling 1.38 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 30:6 K:BB through 26 innings, and he's lasted seven innings in three straight trips to the mound. The Mets will likely keep an eye on Sproat's workload in his first pro campaign, but the 2023 second-round pick is on track to make his Triple-A debut before the end of the season, and given how little difficulty he's having dominating minor-league hitters, a late 2024 big-league debut is starting to look at least plausible, if not exactly likely.

Winn (forearm) could bypass a rehab start and return from the 15-day injured list this week to join the San Francisco rotation, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Winn remains tentatively scheduled for a rehab start with Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, but the Giants might need to expedite his return to the majors with Blake Snell exiting his start in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Yankees with groin tightness and likely to land on the injured list. Snell's next turn comes up Saturday in Texas, though it's possible Winn is brought back to start earlier than that. Because Winn isn't fully stretched out yet and hasn't pitched since May 14, fantasy managers would be best off keeping him benched this week if the Giants elect to activate him.

Lodolo (5-2) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Cubs.

Lodolo kept the Cubs off the board through four innings before they tallied a run in the fifth and sixth innings. He's allowed three runs over 11.1 innings while winning his last two starts since returning from the injured list. However, he's totaled just six punchouts during that span. On the year, Lodolo owns a 3.11 ERA with a 49:10 K:BB through 46.1 frames. His next start is projected to be a rematch with the Cubs at home.

Mahle (elbow) is expected to face live hitters Monday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Mahle has been throwing bullpen sessions over the past few weeks, and facing live hitters appears to be just another step in the recovery process. It's been a little more than a year since the right-hander underwent Tommy John surgery, and Mahle isn't expected to be ready for game action until some point after the All-Star break.

Gray (groin) is scheduled to face live hitters Monday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

A clearer indication of when Gray could return from the 15-day injured list should emerge following Monday's session. At the time of his placement on the IL, the right-hander wasn't expected to miss much more than the minimum 15 days. Per Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, Gray could be an option to rejoin the Texas rotation as soon as Friday versus the Giants if Monday's live session goes off without a hitch.

Scherzer (back/arm) threw a bullpen session Saturday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

After throwing about 25 pitches during Saturday's session, Scherzer gave a thumbs-up when he arrived at the clubhouse Sunday. Depending on how he recovers and how his conversations with the training staff go, Scherzer could face live batters Monday. Scherzer could then resume a rehab assignment soon thereafter.

Eflin (back) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Sunday's session was Eflin's second bullpen in the last four days. He threw two simulated innings and came away feeling good. The Rays haven't confirmed a date for Eflin's return from the 15-day injured list, but he could be activated as soon as Wednesday to start in the Rays' series finale in Miami.

King came away with a no-decision Sunday against the Royals, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings.

King was sharp, not allowing an extra-base hit and turning in another quality start, his fifth over his past six contests. The 29-year-old snapped a three-game streak allowing a home run, something he has struggled with all season -- his 1.8 HR/9 ranks in the ninth percentile. On the whole, King has been solid this season, recording a 3.82 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 78:31 K:BB across 73 innings. The right-hander will look to build off this success in his next start, tentatively scheduled for this weekend against Arizona.

Heaney (2-6) picked up the win Sunday against Miami, allowing four hits and no walks across six scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

Heaney generated his second consecutive win Sunday and turned in his first scoreless outing of 2024 as a starter. The lefty has settled in after stumbling to a 6.26 ERA over five starts in April, owning a 2.43 ERA and 31 strikeouts across 33.1 innings since May 1. Heaney is tentatively scheduled for a home start against the Giants next Sunday.
