The White Sox selected Keller's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.

Keller was built up slowly in spring training while he completed his recovery from offseason thoracic outlet syndrome surgery, but he was deemed ready to go for the start of the Triple-A season. He made three starts for Charlotte prior to his call-up, working at least five innings each time out while pitching to a 4.50 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 14:6 K:BB in 16 innings. Keller is expected to give the White Sox a multi-inning option out of the bullpen for the time being, but he could eventually emerge as a candidate for the big-league rotation if back-end starter Chris Flexen fails to perform well enough to hold down that role on a more permanent basis.

Mize didn't factor in the decision Saturday versus Kansas City after he allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and no walks across five innings. He struck out two.

The 26-year-old was in line for his first loss of the season when he exited with the Tigers trailing 3-1 through six innings, but the offense got him off the hook for the loss with a five-run seventh. Mize missed all of last season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but he's pitched well early in 2024 with a 3.08 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 18:6 K:BB over 26.1 innings. He's yet to allow more than three runs in any of his five starts.

Singer didn't factor in the decision Saturday at Detroit after he allowed one run on four hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander gave up a run on a walk and a triple during the second inning but blanked the Tigers in his other four frames. Despite the strong run prevention, it was the third straight start with three walks for Singer, who generated just eight swings-and-misses Saturday. The 27-year-old has enjoyed a strong first month of the season with a 2.62 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB across 34.1 innings.

Cecconi (1-1) took the loss Saturday against the Mariners, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings.

Cecconi stifled Seattle's lineup for most of the contest, retiring 11 of the first 12 batters he faced, with seven of those batters going down on strikes. The 24-year-old right-hander would still get tagged with the loss after allowing an RBI single in the fifth, though he's now worked six solid innings in each of his first two starts to open the campaign. Cecconi's surrendered only three runs over that stretch while posting an 11:1 K:BB.

Kirby (3-2) earned the win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday, hurling seven shutout innings while allowing two hits and two walks. He struck out 12.

Kirby wasn't playing around Saturday, fanning six of the first eight batters he faced en route to recording a career-high 12 strikeouts on the night. The right-hander has now hurled 12 shutout innings over his last two starts, and Saturday also marked the second time this season in which he's allowed only two hits. Kirby carries a 30:2 K:BB over five starts this month and has won his last two decisions.

Ross (1-3) took the loss Saturday against the Yankees after he gave up seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out five.

Ross continued his boom-or-bust tendencies Saturday, as he's given up six earned runs in two starts and three earned runs combined in his other three outings. The veteran right-hander likely has some security in Milwaukee's rotation with Wade Miley (elbow) out for the season and Jakob Junis (shoulder) and DL Hall (knee) also on the shelf, but Ross has a 5.40 ERA and 1.68 WHIP through five starts and is a volatile fantasy option.

Woods Richardson is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Woods Richardson will be making his second straight turn through the Minnesota rotation after he was called up from Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday to replace the struggling Louie Varland, who was optioned to the minors. While making his second start with the big club of the season Thursday, the right-hander took a no-decision against the White Sox, striking out six and allowing two earned runs on seven hits and one walk over five innings. The outing was good enough to earn Woods Richardson at least one more turn through the rotation, with the 23-year-old getting another crack against the White Sox on the road.

Flexen is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Flexen will make a second straight turn through the rotation after he held his own in his return from the bullpen Friday against the Rays, striking out two while allowing five baserunners over five scoreless innings en route to grabbing his first win of the season. The right-hander may not be in store for an extended run in the rotation, however; Mike Clevinger made a 60-pitch rehab start at Triple-A Charlotte this past week and could be ready to make his 2024 White Sox debut by next weekend.

Rodon (2-1) earned the win Saturday against the Brewers after he struck out eight and allowed one run on two hits and a walk over six innings.

The left-hander delivered seven scoreless frames in his previous start and followed up with a season-high eight strikeouts in Milwaukee on Saturday, with the lone blemish against him being a solo homer from Rhys Hoskins in the opening frame. Rodon surrendered 15 long balls in 14 starts last season but has a 0.8 HR/9 through six outings in 2024. It's been an encouraging start to the campaign with a 2.48 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB across 32.2 innings.

Soriano (0-4) took the loss against the Twins on Saturday, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 1.2 innings while striking out one.

Soriano struggled right out of the gate, allowing two walks and a hit in the opening frame while also hitting Ryan Jeffers with a pitch. Things only got worse for the right-hander in the second, when he beaned the leadoff man and managed to retire only two of the next six batters he faced before being relieved by Jose Suarez. It marked the shortest outing of the season for Soriano and the third time in which he's allowed at least three runs. He's also issued three or more walks in three consecutive starts.
