Cole (elbow) had his rehab assignment transferred from Double-A Somerset to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Cole has already made five rehab starts -- two with High-A Hudson Valley and three with Somerset. He threw 77 pitches over five frames in his most recent outing, so he appears close to being fully ramped up, though Yankees manager Aaron Boone stated following Cole's last appearance that he'll need at least two more rehab starts. Cole is slated to start for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, per YES Network, so he could still be ready to join the Yankees' rotation before the end of May.

The Cubs reinstated Wicks (elbow) from the injured list Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Iowa, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Wicks has been dealing with inflammation in his forearm and elbow since the early stages of spring training. He began making rehab starts with Iowa on April 18 and has since turned in a 5.48 ERA and 1.78 WHIP to go with an 18:10 K:BB through 21.1 innings. He'll stay put in the minors despite being given a clean bill of health, but with Matthew Boyd (knee), Justin Steele (elbow) and Cade Horton (elbow) all sidelined, Wicks could be called back up to the big leagues if Chicago's rotation depth is tested further.

Scarborough (melanoma) tossed 1.2 innings for Texas' Arizona Complex League club Friday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out two batters.

Scarborough didn't have a great pitching line Friday, but his presence on the mound was positive given that he underwent surgery to remove a melanoma in February. The right-hander is one of the Rangers' top pitching prospects. He will likely need some time to build back up, but Scarborough could be bumped up to Double-A at some point this season if he pitches well after returning to a standard workload.

The Brewers optioned Crow to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

The Brewers won't need Crow's services beyond the spot start he made Friday, so they'll send him back to the minors in favor of Peter Strzelecki, who will provide extra bullpen depth. There's still a strong chance Crow will be promoted for future starts this year, however, as he owns a 2.61 ERA and 0.77 WHIP in 10.1 innings through his first two starts in the majors.

The Yankees recalled Rodriguez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

The 22-year-old righty will return to the Yankees as the roster replacement for Max Fried, who landed on the injured list with a bone bruise in his left elbow. Rodriguez struggled during his first stretch in the big leagues, allowing five earned runs on 10 hits and eight walks while striking out five batters in 8.2 innings over two starts. He'll likely take Fried's place in the rotation until Gerrit Cole (elbow) is cleared to return, lining Rodriguez up to start against the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

The Athletics traded Robinson to the Pirates on Saturday in exchange for Alika Williams.

Robinson reached Double-A in 2025 but was sent back to High-A at the start of the 2026 campaign and has posted a 3.62 ERA and 1.37 WHIP alongside a 19:13 K:BB across 27.1 innings. The 22-year-old righty will likely remain at High-A to begin his tenure in the Pirates organization and aim to return to Double-A by the end of the season.

The Tigers reinstated Mize (thigh) from the injured list Saturday.

Mize landed on the injured list in late April with a right adductor strain, but he'll now make his return without a rehab assignment and take on a Blue Jays squad that's posted just a .675 OPS since the beginning of the month. Brenan Hanifee was optioned to Triple-A Toledo to make room for Mize on the active roster.

The White Sox optioned Schweitzer to Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.

Schweitzer will return to the minors after making three appearances during his latest stint with the big club, giving up three earned runs on three hits and two walks over 2.2 innings. Despite a poor start to his MLB career, the 25-year-old could be welcomed back to Chicago if he returns to form at Triple-A, where he's posted a 2.91 ERA through 21.2 frames. Brandon Eisert was recalled from Charlotte in a corresponding move.

The Cardinals reinstated Pushard (knee) from the injured list Saturday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Pushard landed on the injured list at the end of March with right knee tendinitis. He's made 11 rehab appearances at Triple-A Memphis since then, recording a 3.55 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 10 strikeouts over 12.2 innings. Now that the Rule 5 pick is fully healthy, the Cardinals will keep him in their big-league bullpen and likely use him as a middle reliever. Jared Shuster was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Berrios will undergo surgery to repair his right elbow Wednesday, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

The primary focus of the procedure will be to repair the stress fracture in his elbow, though there is also concern about possible ligament damage. More will be known regarding his return timeline following the procedure, though ligament repair would likely rule him out for the remainder of the season.
