  • Bryce Miller SP | SEA

Mariners' Bryce Miller: Flounders again in loss

Miller (4-6) took the loss in Sunday's contest against the Dodgers, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks over four innings with two strikeouts.

The Seattle right-hander's run of less-than-stellar work continued in his final outing of the regular season. Miller allowed all four runs on a pair of two-run homers -- Hyeseong Kim in the second and Freddie Freeman in the fourth -- as he wraps 2025 on a stretch of 12 consecutive starts allowing two or more earned runs. Over that span, Miller tallied just one quality start while pitching to a 6.79 ERA and 1.27 WHIP across 59.2 frames. The Texas A&M product concludes his regular season with a 5.68 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 74:34 K:BB in 90.1 total innings.

  • Freddy Peralta SP | NYM

Brewers' Freddy Peralta: Allows a run in two frames

Peralta took a no-decision in Sunday's 4-2 win against the Reds, conceding one run on three hits and no walks over two innings. He struck out three.

The Milwaukee right-hander threw only 44 pitches, 30 of which were strikes, in this short tune-up before his team enters the playoffs. The lone blemish on Peralta's line came via an Elly De La Cruz solo homer in the second. With this effort, Peralta concludes the finest regular season in his eight-year career. He pitched to a 2.70 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 204:66 K:BB across 176.2 total innings.

  • McCade Brown P | COL

Rockies' McCade Brown: Falls to Giants

Brown (0-5) took the loss Sunday against San Francisco, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks across three innings. He struck out two.

Both runs charged to Brown came via the long ball -- he gave up a solo shot to Willy Adames to lead off the game before Rafael Devers led off the fourth with another homer. It's a tough way to finish the season for Brown, who allowed one run while striking out 10 in his last time out against the Mariners. Overall, Brown posted a 7.36 ERA with a 1.83 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB across 25.2 innings in his first seven major-league starts.

  • Brady Singer SP | CIN

Reds' Brady Singer: Fans five in loss

Singer (14-12) allowed three runs on five hits and one walk over 3.1 innings to take the loss Sunday at Milwaukee. He struck out five.

The 29-year-old labored in this outing, requiring 71 pitches to complete his 10-out appearance. Singer yielded a run on a Brice Turang double in the third before being tagged for a two-run homer by Danny Jansen in the fourth, chasing the righty from the game. This performance wraps Singer's first regular season with the Reds. He pitched to a 4.03 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 163:60 K:BB across 169.2 total frames.

  • Logan Webb SP | SF

Giants' Logan Webb: Grabs win in finale

Webb (15-11) earned the win in Sunday's 4-0 victory over the Rockies, allowing just three hits over 5.1 scoreless innings. He struck out eight.

Webb was solid down the stretch, posting a 2.87 ERA in his last nine outings (53.1 innings). The right-hander wrapped up the season on a high note, as he matched a career high with his 15th win. Webb will finish another strong campaign with a 3.22 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a career-best 224 strikeouts across 34 starts (207 innings).

  • JP Sears SP | SD

Padres' JP Sears: Recalled ahead of start

The Padres recalled Sears from Triple-A El Paso ahead of his scheduled start Sunday versus the Diamondbacks in San Diego.

San Diego optioned lefty Kyle Hart to the minors to clear room on the 28-man active roster for Sears. The southpaw isn't expected to be included on the Padres' postseason roster, as he was called up Sunday to afford the other members of the rotation some extra rest in advance of the wild-card series with the Cubs.

  • Logan Evans RP | SEA

Mariners' Logan Evans: Sent down Sunday

The Mariners optioned Evans to the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Sunday.

Evans threw three innings of one-run ball out of the bullpen in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Dodgers in his return from the injured list in what marked his first career relief appearance in the majors. The 24-year-old put up a 4.32 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 59:31 K:BB over 81.1 spanning 16 appearances (15 starts) as a rookie during the regular season.

  • Andrew Heaney RP | LAD

Dodgers' Andrew Heaney: Booted from active roster

The Dodgers optioned Heaney to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Heaney had his contract selected Saturday and threw two innings of relief in his team debut, allowing three earned runs on four hits and one walk. Since Heaney wouldn't have been available for Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Mariners, the Dodgers opted to call up Landon Knack from Triple-A to provide a fresh arm in the bullpen.

  • Landon Knack SP | LAD

Dodgers' Landon Knack: Summoned from Triple-A

The Dodgers recalled Knack from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Knack will join the active roster for the final game of the regular season Sunday in Seattle after lefty Andrew Heaney was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. The 27-year-old right-hander has appeared in nine games for the Dodgers in 2025, making seven starts and posting a 5.12 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP across 38.2 innings.

  • Angels' Sam Aldegheri: Gets nod for season finale

Aldegheri is slated to start Sunday's game against the Astros in Anaheim.

He'll take a second straight turn through the rotation to close out the season after he was dealt a loss Tuesday against the Royals last week. Through three appearances (one start) with the Angels this season, the young southpaw has allowed eight earned runs on 13 hits and seven walks while striking out seven over nine innings.
