Parker (4-5) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two over five-plus innings to take the loss versus the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

By his recent standards, this was actually one of Parker's better starts. It didn't go well early on, as he allowed all three runs, including a two-run home run by Eugenio Suarez, in the first inning, but he retired 14 straight batters before exiting after a leadoff walk in the sixth. Parker has allowed at least three runs in seven straight outings, and this was the third time in that span he's completed at least five innings. He's already on shaky ground in Washington's rotation, and he has a 4.71 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 42:28 K:BB through 65 innings over 12 starts. Parker is tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Rangers in his next outing.

Gausman did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over the Athletics. He allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven over 4.2 innings.

Gausman gave up one run through four innings before Luis Urias' two-run double in the fifth knocked him out of the contest. It was just the second time in 12 starts that Gausman failed to complete five frames. He'd given up one run over 15 frames in his previous two starts before Sunday. Gausman threw 60 of 96 pitches for strikes and generated 13 whiffs, including 10 with the splitter. He's registered a 3.82 ERA alongside a 68:14 K:BB through 70.2 innings. Gausman's next start is expected to be in Minnesota.

Sears did not factor in the decision during Sunday's loss to Toronto. He allowed two runs on seven hits while striking out three over five frames.

Sears threw four shutout frames before the Blue Jays plated a pair of runs in the fifth inning. He was in line for his first win since April 28 before Toronto exploded with a six-run eighth inning. Sears gave up 15 runs in his previous two outings and posted an 8.37 ERA across five May appearances. He dropped his ERA to 5.05 with a 46:11 K:BB through 62.1 innings. Sears' next outing is expected to be a home matchup against the Orioles.

Burnes (elbow) was removed from Sunday's 3-1 win over the Nationals due to right elbow inflammation, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports. He struck out six and allowed one run on four hits and one walk over 4.2 innings before leaving the game.

Burnes called for the team trainer after surrendering a two-out single on a cutter to CJ Abrams in the top of the fifth inning. Manager Torey Lovullo said following the contest that his concern level on the starter's elbow is "more than minimal," according to Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com. Burnes will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. If Burnes ends up landing on the injured list or misses his next start, the Diamondbacks would likely reopen a spot in the rotation for Ryne Nelson, who had been expected to shift to the bullpen with Eduardo Rodriguez (shoulder) due to return from the IL this week.

Perez (elbow) is scheduled to make his eighth rehab start Tuesday with Triple-A Jacksonville, FishOnFirst.com reports.

Perez turned in his best rehab outing yet with Jacksonville this past Wednesday, striking out four and inducing whiffs on seven of his 72 pitches while spinning five shutout innings. He'll look to push his pitch count up to the 75-to-85 range Tuesday, and if all goes well, it could be his final outing in the minors before making his return from the 60-day injured list. Perez has been sticking to a five-day rest schedule between his recent rehab starts, so if that pattern holds, he could make his 2025 Marlins debut June 9 in Pittsburgh.

Bieber (elbow) will make a rehab start with Double-A Akron on Thursday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander struck out five over 2.1 scoreless frames during his first rehab outing in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Saturday, and he'll continue his rehab assignment at the Double-A level. Now nearly 14 months removed from Tommy John surgery, Bieber will need a handful of starts in the minors before making his 2025 MLB debut for the Guardians.

Ginn (quadriceps) will begin a rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A Las Vegas, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander landed on the shelf May 20 due to a quadriceps strain, but he's been cleared for game action and will pitch in a minor-league game this week. Ginn returned from the injured list May 19 after missing most of the previous month due to an elbow issue, so the A's could look to get him a couple starts in the minors before activating him this time around.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Kopech (shoulder) could be activated from the 60-day injured list during the upcoming week, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

Kopech is expected to pitch Sunday for Triple-A Oklahoma City in what would be the ninth appearance of his rehab assignment. The right-hander entered Sunday's contest with an 18.56 ERA, 3.53 WHIP and 9:10 K:BB in 5.1 innings for the Triple-A club, but he had delivered scoreless appearances in three of his last four outings. Kopech served as a high-leverage reliever during the Dodgers' run to the World Series last fall, but given his rocky performance during his rehab assignment, the right-hander could be deployed in middle relief in his initial appearances upon returning from the IL.

Burnes was removed from Sunday's start against the Nationals due to an apparent injury, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

The veteran right-hander showcased some decreased velocity during the fifth inning but still retired the first two batters before giving up a single to CJ Abrams and subsequently departing with the training staff. Abrams then came around to score on reliever Jalen Beeks, so Burnes was charged with one earned run across 4.2 innings Sunday. The specifics of the injury are unclear, but the team is likely to update Burnes' status in the near future.

Darvish (elbow) is expected to throw a bullpen session in San Francisco on Tuesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

After experiencing tightness following his minor-league rehab start with Double-A San Antonio on May 14, Darvish was shut down for a couple weeks before he resumed playing catch. According to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune, Darvish stepped back on a mound Saturday and threw about six or seven pitches at less-than-full intensity, and with that brief workout apparently going well, he'll take the next step forward in his progression by throwing a formal bullpen session. The Padres haven't mapped out a plan for Darvish beyond Tuesday, and though he remains without a clear timeline to make his season debut, the team maintains that he won't require an extended ramp-up period. Cassavell suggests that Darvish may need just one or two rehab starts before rejoining the big-league rotation, perhaps at some point in mid-to-late June.
