Wilson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run in a loss to the Mariners on Thursday.

The rookie is maintaining an everyday role now that he's healthy, but Wilson has gone just 4-for-25 since returning from the IL on Aug. 27. However, given his elite body of work in the minors -- Wilson hit .433 (90-for-208) this year over three minor-league levels -- it figures to be just a matter of time before he figures out big-league arms.

Sweeney is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Padres.

Sweeney had started in 10 consecutive games, all against right-handed pitchers, but he will get some rest with lefty Martin Perez on the mound for the Padres. At shortstop Thursday, Ryan Kreidler is starting and batting eighth.

Crawford is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest in Oakland.

It's a routine day off for Crawford, who is just 2-for-24 at the plate since returning from the injured list. Leo Rivas will start at shortstop and bat ninth for the Mariners.

Gray went 1-for-4 with a double in a loss to the Mariners on Wednesday.

Gray recorded his first hit in an Athletics uniform when he laced one of three doubles in the lopsided loss for Oakland. The 28-year-old, who had just five career big-league plate appearances prior to this season, is capable of playing across the infield and has now drawn three straight starts.

Caballero is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Twins.

Caballero had two hits, scored two runs and drove in a run in Wednesday's win over the Twins, but he'll get a breather Thursday. He will yield to Taylor Walls at shortstop for the series finale.

Amaya went 1-for-4 with a double Wednesday against the Orioles.

Amaya drew his sixth straight start, all of which have come at shortstop. He's hit ninth in the order but has at least one hit in three consecutive games. Amaya maintained just a .638 OPS across 302 plate appearances while in Triple-A this season, so expectations should be limited.

Moore went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's win over Oakland.

Moore drove home Luis Urias with a two-out RBI single in the fourth before going on to swipe his 29th bag of the campaign and his sixth over his last 10 games (though he only started in eight of those contests). The utility man would later add a double and a sacrifice fly during a seven-run seventh inning for Seattle, marking his second-straight start in which he logged multiple hits. Moore has also hit safely in four of his last six starts, batting .352 (6-for-17) over those games with three doubles, two RBI and five runs scored.

Henderson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-1 loss to the White Sox.

Henderson led off the home half of the first inning with a 402-foot blast off Jonathan Cannon, his 35th of the year, and that would stand as the Orioles' lone run in the loss. It's the second homer in five games for Henderson, who's gone 8-for-19 in that span. The 23-year-old shortstop is now slashing .280/.367/.538 through 630 plate appearances this year with 107 runs scored, 84 RBI and 17 stolen bases.

The Rangers placed Seager on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with right hip discomfort, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

It's an injury that seems to have been nagging at Seager for a bit, as he had been out of the lineup for three of the previous seven contests. Seager will be eligible for activation Sept. 16, but with less than two weeks left in the season at that point and the Rangers out of the playoff picture, it's possible he's played his last game this season. Josh Smith could see the bulk of the starts at shortstop while Seager is out, with Ezequiel Duran and Jonathan Ornelas also in the mix.

Rafaela is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

It marks the third day off since the beginning of last week for Rafaela, who has just a .508 OPS and 19:0 K:BB over his last 18 games. Nick Sogard will play shortstop and Jarren Duran will be in center field for the Red Sox on Wednesday.
