NL starters announced for 2015 All-Star Game
The National League starters for the All-Star Game were announced Sunday, and leading the way after an impressive first half is Nationals slugger Bryce Harper, who racked up nearly 14 million votes to pace the field.
Harper entered Sunday's game with a .344 average, 25 home runs and 60 RBIs, numbers that have him squarely in the conversation for the Triple Crown. He'll be joined in Cincinnati by players from an array of teams, unlike the AL's Royals-heavy squad.

Correa went 3 for 4 with a double, a home run and two RBI.
Over his last three games, Correa is hitting .500 with seven hits, two home runs and four RBI.

Astros' Carlos Correa homers in Friday's win
Astros shortstop Carlos Correa hit a solo home run in the eighth inning of Friday's win over Boston.
Correa went 3 for 6, scored twice and drove in two runs. He has three multi-hit games in the last five.
Correa's homer gave Houston the lead in the eighth. After Boston tied the score, Correa drove in the game-winner with a bases-loaded single in the tenth.
Correa now has six homers and 17 RBI on the year.

Red Sox SS Xander Bogaerts totals third four-hit game
Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts tied a season high with four hits during a 12-6 win Thursday at Toronto. He has totaled four hits three times this season.
Bogaerts opened the scoring with an RBI single in the top of the first inning. He added another single in the fourth and sixth innings before recording his second RBI on his fourth single of the game in the top of the seventh. He had one run in the game.
Bogaerts has been on a steady offensive run since May 31. He has a .341/.463/.821 slash line in his last 30 games. He has one home run, 12 doubles, 19 RBI, 15 runs, three walks, 19 strikeouts and two stolen bases in that span.

Astros SS Carlos Correa gets a day off on Wednesday
Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is getting the first day off of his young career, as he is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game with the Royals. Correa had started each of the 22 games since being called up on June 8.
But after going hitless in back-to-back games for the first time, Correa will start Wednesday's game on the bench. Marwin Gonzalez will get the start at shortstop, batting eighth on Wednesday.

Indians SS Francisco Lindor rests amid 1-for-15 slump
Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor received his first day off Wednesday against the Rays since entering the starting lineup June 16. Mike Aviles stepped in at shortstop in place of Lindor, who made his MLB debut on June 14.
Lindor is mired in a 1-for-15 slump in his last four games, dropping his average to .211 in 15 games. He has one double, one home run and five RBI.

Rookie shortstop Carlos Correa continued his impressive MLB start, doubling twice and scoring two runs as the Astros defeated the Yankees on Sunday.
Correa, the top overall pick in 2012, has nine doubles and five homers in just 20 games. He also scored the tiebreaking run on Evan Gattis' triple.
Correa also used his speed to score in the fourth inning, when his double was misplayed by the Yankees' outfielder, allowing him to come all the way around the bases. He is now hitting .314 on the season.
