Abrams went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Padres.

The 22-year-old shortstop wrapped up a three-game series against San Diego, the team that drafted him in the first round in 2019, having gone 4-for-11 with a pair of doubles. Abrams is picking up the pace as the All-Star break approaches, but on the season he still carries a lackluster .235/.279/.395 slash line with seven homers, eight steals, 28 runs and 33 RBI in 70 games.

Marte was promoted to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

Marte missed time over the first half of June due to a hamstring strain, but he's been back in action recently and has appeared in three games at Double-A Chattanooga over the past few days. The 21-year-old has slashed .281/.356/.464 with eight homers, 37 runs, 25 RBI and 10 stolen bases over 50 games at Chattanooga this year and will now get a chance to compete against a higher level of competition.

Edman went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Cubs.

Edman is up to 14 steals on the season, six of which have come over 20 games in June. He's hitting just .200 (14-for-70) this month, but he's hit safely in eight of his last 10 contests. For the season, Edman is at a .242/.313/.410 slash line with eight home runs, 27 RBI, 41 runs scored, 14 doubles and three triples through 74 games overall.

Tovar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Angels.

Tovar knocked in the Rockies' last two runs of the game, giving them just enough for the win. The shortstop has hit safely in his last nine games, going 13-for-37 (.351) over that span. For the season, he's up to a .262/.296/.430 slash line with seven homers, 33 RBI, 34 runs scored and three stolen bases through 73 contests. Tovar hit leadoff for the first time this season Sunday, but that was likely just because Jurickson Profar had the day off. Over the last couple of weeks, Tovar has often hit second in the order.

McLain went 4-for-5 with a home run, three doubles, five RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss to Atlanta.

This was McLain's second game in a row with a homer and his fourth multi-hit effort in his last 10 contests. The infielder got the nod at second base with Jonathan India receiving a day off. McLain has stepped up since his big-league debut May 15, slashing .325/.380/.541 with five homers, 22 RBI, 30 runs scored, four stolen bases, 11 doubles and four triples over 37 games. He's primarily played at shortstop and looks set to hold onto an everyday role.

Turner went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, two additional RBI, one additional run scored and two steals in Sunday's victory over the Mets.

Turner hit a home run and stole a base in the same game for just the second time this season. The shortstop now has eight homers, 28 RBI, 15 steals and 44 runs scored across 76 games (340 plate appearances), but he's still slashing just .248/.305/.387, which would all be his lowest marks since his rookie campaign in 2015 when he played in only 27 games.

Wendle is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The lefty-hitting Wendle has hits in five of his past six games but has just a .534 OPS during that span, and he'll head to the bench Sunday despite righty Johan Oviedo being on the mound for Pittsburgh. Rookie Jacob Amaya is starting at shortstop and batting eighth.

De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against Atlanta in a loss Saturday.

Though De La Cruz understandably couldn't match the buzz he generated with his first career cycle Friday, the rookie phenom continued to show why he's become an instant fantasy (and real-life) star by reaching base twice and nabbing a stolen base. He's in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak during which he's gone 15-for-30 with two homers, six RBI and three thefts. As evidence of his impact thus far, De La Cruz has either homered or swiped a bag in 10 of his first 16 games as a major-leaguer.

McLain went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run Saturday in a loss to Atlanta.

McLain had been struggling for the first time as a big-leaguer heading into the contest, going 2-for-16 with five strikeouts over his previous five games. He put that behind him with the two-hit effort that included his fourth long ball of the season. McLain has posted an excellent .309/.367/.493 slash line though his first 36 major-league games while establishing himself as Cincinnati's everyday shortstop.

Swanson went 2-for-3 with two walks, a two-run home run and two total runs scored in Saturday's win over the Cardinals.

Swanson delivered a strong effort in the first of two games for the Cubs in London. The shortstop batted fifth, which has been his typical lineup spot the past few weeks. Swanson has done well in this stretch, batting .292 over his past 12 games with two home runs and seven RBI. He's batting .268 for the season with a .770 OPS.
