Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Braves' Orlando Arcia: Clubs first homer
Arcia went 2-for-3 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Pirates.
The 26-year-old supplied Atlanta's lone run of the contest with his solo shot during the first inning, and his third-inning single was one of only three other hits from the offense. Arcia is 4-for-11 with a homer, an additional RBI and an additional run in three games since joining the big-league roster over the weekend.

Oneil Cruz SS | PIT
Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Placed on 7-day IL
Cruz (forearm) was placed on the 7-day minor-league injured list Tuesday, Mike Persak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Cruz hasn't appeared in a game since June 30 due to a sore forearm, and the injury is apparently bad enough to warrant a trip to the injured list. General manager Ben Cherington recently said that he doesn't believe the injury is serious, but it's not yet clear when the 22-year-old will be able to return. Prior to getting hurt, Cruz slashed .289/.349/.538 with nine homers, 34 runs, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases in 43 games at Double-A Altoona.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Takes seat Tuesday
Ahmed is not starting Tuesday against the Rockies.
Ahmed will get at least the beginning portion of Tuesday's game off as Josh Rojas slides to shortstop and Josh VanMeter takes over at second base.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Resumes swinging
Manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Seager (hand) has resumed swinging and is expected to begin a rehab assignment some time shortly after the All-Star break, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Seager was initially hoping to return to the Dodgers' lineup in early July, but his return timeline was delayed when soreness emerged in his right hand at the end of June. Beginning to swing again marks a big step forward as he continues to target a mid-July return. If he is indeed able to start a rehab assignment at the end of next week, it seems possible that he could be activated as soon as July 19 against the Giants.

Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Scores twice in win
Edman went 2-for-4 with two runs in a win over the Giants on Monday.
Edman is now riding a seven-game hitting streak following his third multi-hit effort in four games. The 26-year-old hasn't displayed much pop recently -- he has only three extra-base hits over his last 16 games -- but he's hit .300 and gotten on base at a .333 clip over that span.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Sitting second straight
Berti is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Berti had started the previous three games prior to Monday, but he'll sit for the second straight day Tuesday as Joe Panik mans the hot corner. The versatile veteran has just one hit in his last 13 at-bats and is slashing an underwhelming .222/.319/.335 on the campaign.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Homers in return
Turner went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 7-5 win over the Padres.
Turner sent a ball deep to left field on the first pitch he saw to give the Nationals a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The 28-year-old missed four games due to a jammed finger but did not appear to be bothered by the issue whatsoever. Turner is slashing an outstanding .321/.370/.522 with 15 homers, 39 RBI, 51 runs scored, 18 steals and a 23:67 BB:K over 346 plate appearances. He was named to his first-ever All-Star Game on Monday as well.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Homers in loss Monday
Baez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Monday's 13-3 loss to Philadelphia.
The shortstop continues to show decent power with 19 homers, two triples and seven doubles through 76 games. Baez has multiple hits in his last two games, lifting his batting average up to .230 with a .755 OPS through 300 plate appearances. He's added 52 RBI, 39 runs scored and 10 stolen bases this year, but his ratios aren't likely to improve much while he's striking out at a 37 percent clip.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Back in action Monday
Turner (finger) is starting at shortstop and batting second Monday against the Padres, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Turner will retake the field Monday for the first time since jamming a finger on his left hand after hitting for the cycle Wednesday. The 28-year-old has a 1.207 OPS over his past 15 games and will attempt to pick up where he left off before missing four games due to the injury.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Takes seat Monday
Berti isn't starting Monday's game against the Dodgers, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Berti had started in each of the last three games, and he went 1-for-13 with a run and six strikeouts during that time. Joe Panik will start at the hot corner and bat eighth.
