Baez is not in the lineup Wednesday against the White Sox.

Baez looked lost in Tuesday's win, as he wound up striking out five times in as many trips to the plate. He'll hit the bench to clear his head, allowing Ben Zobrist to move back to second base.

Crawford went 2-for-4 with a double and a three runs scored in Tuesday's win over Pittsburgh.

Crawford's season has been a disappointing one so far (.235/.276/.381), but he has been picking things up at the plate following the All-Star break, batting .295 (13-for-44) with seven doubles and six RBI in 12 games. The 30-year-old has been able to maintain deep-league fantasy value at the shortstop position with 51 RBI this season, but he would be doing his fantasy owners a big favor if he could get hot and up his batting average in the second half.

Owings is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's tilt with the Braves.

Owings, is mired in a horrendous slump to begin the second half of the season, going just 6-for-43 over 11 games, so he'll head to the bench for Wednesday's series finale. His replacement, Ketel Marte, isn't hitting much better this season with a .196 average, so don't expect too much of a drop off in playing time despite the recent struggles.

Owings went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Braves.

Owings has gotten off to an anemic start to the second half, tallying just six hits in 43 at-bats. Though the extended slump hasn't resulted in Owings losing out on regular playing time, he'll likely need to turn the corner before long or risk losing starts to backup shortstop Ketel Marte.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

He's been getting the job done setting the table for the Marlins' trio of slugging outfielders, and Gordon is now slashing .316/.333/.342 over his last nine games with seven runs and four steals. Tuesday's steal also moved him past the injured Trea Turner (wrist) into second place in the majors with 36 stolen bases on the year.

Cordoba hit a two-run homer in a 1-for-3 effort against the Mets on Tuesday.

The second-inning long ball was the rookie's fourth in 78 games (194 plate appearances) this season. As a Rule 5 pick, he's relatively safe in his position on San Diego's roster, but Cordoba's spotty playing time and poor offensive production sharply limit his fantasy value.

Camargo went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Tuesday's win over Arizona.

Power isn't the 23-year-old's calling card, but after hitting .311 over 31 games at Triple-A this year, he's now sitting at .313 through 52 contests (albeit just 154 plate appearances) in the majors. His numbers have been even better since he settled in as the Braves' regular shortstop in mid-June, as he's posted a .336/.355/.526 line, including 14 doubles and a triple alongside his pair of homers. However, he has an unsustainable .389 BABIP -- a figure much higher than we've seen from him at any level of the minors except rookie ball -- and plate discipline isn't a great strength for him, so it's reasonable to expect that Camargo will cool off to some degree down the stretch.

Martinez was placed on the 7-day minor-league disabled list Tuesday, Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register reports.

It's currently unclear as to what injury Martinez is dealing with, but he'll be sidelined nonetheless. The 29-year-old is hitting just .226 over 44 games with Triple-A Iowa this season.

Diaz exited Tuesday's game with Triple-A Memphis after being hit by a pitch on his hand, Derrick Goold of the St. Loius Post-Dispatch reports.

Diaz was plunked on the hand during his at-bat and was subsequently removed from the game. He'll undergo an examination on his hand, at which point we'll have more information on the severity of the injury.

Turner (wrist) fielded groundballs with the big-league club Tuesday, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

He is awaiting the results of X-rays he had earlier in the day, and while he was fielding grounders, he was not permitted to throw to first base. Turner is still wearing a brace on his wrist, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports. He did conditioning work and lifted weights recently in Florida, as he continues to make slow progress in his recovery.
