Chase d'Arnaud SS | SF
Braves' Chase d'Arnaud: Called up from Triple-A on Monday
D'Arnaud was called up from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
The Braves decided to perform a slew of moves Monday, and d'Arnaud was on the good side of things as he received a call to the big leagues. He likely won't get too much playing time, but he'll be one of the first infield options off the bench now that Jace Peterson is back in the minor leagues. To make room for d'Arnaud on the 40-man roster, Drew Stubbs was designated for assignment.

Daniel Castro SS | COL
Braves' Daniel Castro: Sitting Sunday
Castro is not in the starting lineup Sunday against the Cubs.
Castro has worked his way into the starting lineup in 11 straight games, as his versatility allowed him to get starts at second base, third base and shortstop. He currently finds himself in a 0-for-21 slump, however, so perhaps a day of rest is what Castro needs to clear his head and get going at the plate.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Hits game-winning triple Saturday
Story went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs, and three RBI on Saturday at Arizona.
Story's two-run triple broke open a tie game in the ninth inning to lead the Rockies to a win. After going through a 2-for-22 slump, he ended the month by collecting four extra-base hits in his last three games to close out his amazing debut month with a .261/.324/.696 slash line.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Struggling at the plate so far
Ahmed was given a day off Friday to try to get him back on track offensively, Scott Bordow of the Arizona Republic reports.
The shortstop is hitting just .190 so far this season. Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said Ahmed is "pressing a little bit. He just has to dial it back." Jean Segura shifted over to short from second on Friday, while Brandon Drury started at second. If Ahmed continues to struggle at the dish, the Diamondbacks may turn to the Segura/Drury combo more often.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Doubles, scores in Friday victory over Brewers
Rojas went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Brewers.
The 27-year-old made some surprising offensive contributions, notching his first multi-hit game of 2016. Rojas has now received seven straight starts, but has managed to reach base in only two of them. He's slashing .273/.292/.364 over his first 22 at-bats, with Friday's two-bagger representing his second extra-base hit of the season.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Promoted to Double-A
Swanson was promoted to Double-A Mississippi on Saturday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
The Braves' top two hitting prospects, Swanson and Ozzie Albies - both shortstops - were promoted Saturday, with Albies heading to Triple-A. Swanson is a very advanced hitter and the rare player who could reach the majors the year after he was drafted, but with Albies ahead of him, it will be interesting to see how the Braves handle the two shortstops as they continue to move up the ladder. It's possible Swanson could shift to second base when his time comes for a promotion to the big leagues, but it's basically a toss up as to which guy moves off shortstop. Swanson hit .333/.432/.526 with one home run and seven steals while walking more than he struck out in 95 plate appearances at High-A, but he now faces the difficult hitting environment at Mississippi.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Cardinals' Aledmys Diaz: Out of Saturday's lineup
Diaz is out of the lineup Saturday against the Nationals.
Ruben Tejada will get the start at shortstop and hit seventh, as Diaz starts on the bench after going hitless in his last two games. Diaz is clearly the best offensive option at shortstop for the Cardinals while Jhonny Peralta is out, but Tejada is the superior defensive option, so it will be interesting to see how the team handles their playing time going forward.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Clubs 10th homer Friday
Story went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk Friday in Arizona.
Story's 10th home run of the season moved the Rockies out to a four-run lead in a game they'd win easily. After hitting just a single home run over a 13-game span, he's now gone yard in back-to-back contests as he nears the end of his magical first month in the majors. Currently, his slash line sits at .253/.320/.678.

Brandon Crawford SS | STL
Giants' Brandon Crawford: Returns to lineup Friday
Crawford (knee) is back in the lineup Friday, hitting seventh against Steven Matz and the Mets, CSN Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic reports.
The knee injury that forced him from Wednesday's game was apparently quite minor, as Crawford only needed Thursday's off day to get right. He has yet to offer the kind of power that his fantasy owners were banking on when they drafted him (.389 SLG), but it's a young season, and he has the best approach of his career to date (16:12 K:BB).

Ruddy Giron SS | SD
Padres' Ruddy Giron: Returns to Fort Wayne lineup after DL stint
Giron was activated from the DL by Single-A Fort Wayne on Thursday.
Giron started at shortstop in his first game back and promptly went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts, lowering his average to .196. The shortstop was only hitting .216 with six RBI prior to his return. His backup, Peter Van Gansen, batted .241 with three RBI as his replacement. Giron will need to show improvement if he is to keep the starting role.
