Willy Adames SS | SF
Brewers' Willy Adames: Blasts three-run homer
Adames went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Reds.
Adames hit a long ball off Tyler Mahle in the third inning, his fifth homer in his last eight games (sixth overall). The 26-year-old shortstop has upped his OPS more than 200 points in that eight-game stretch, to .804. He has one stolen base in two attempts so far this season.

Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: First big-league blast
Witt went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored, two RBI and a walk in a 7-1 win Tuesday over St. Louis.
Witt went yard off Dakota Hudson in the second inning for his first major-league home run. After walking in the sixth, he drove in a run on a single and came around to score in the five-run seventh. The 21-year-old has an 11-game hitting streak, compiling a .341/.386/.488 batting line and three stolen bases in that span. He seems to be finding his way at the big-league level.

Jeremy Pena SS | HOU
Astros' Jeremy Pena: Two hits, stolen base
Pena went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-0 win against the Mariners.
Pena singled and stole second in the third inning and brought home two runs with another single in the sixth. The theft is the 24-year-old's first surprisingly enough. His sprint speed of 29.2 feet per second ranks 13th in MLB and he had five swipes in 30 games at the Triple-A level.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Solo blast in win
Anderson went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a hit-by-pitch in a 3-1 win Tuesday over the Cubs.
Anderson hit a solo shot to lead off the third inning and put the White Sox up 3-0. Over the last five games, he is 9-for-20 with two homers and no strikeouts. With a .329/.354/.544 batting line through the first 20 games, the 28-year-old is putting up very similar numbers to his .322/.349/.495 line over the previous three seasons.

Dee Strange-Gordon SS | WAS
Nationals' Dee Strange-Gordon: Activated from injured list
Strange-Gordon (illness) was activated off the injured list Tuesday.
Strange-Gordon missed nearly three weeks with a non-COVID illness. Prior to his absence, he'd gone 0-for-3 at the plate with a pair of strikeouts in limited action, and he doesn't appear to have a starting role available upon his return. He'll take the bench spot that had belonged to Lucius Fox, who was optioned in a corresponding move.
-
Marco Luciano SS | NYY
Giants' Marco Luciano: Unchallenged in High-A
Luciano is hitting .328/.380/.578 with four homers through 18 games this season for High-A Eugene.
The pop is nice, but even nicer is how steady Luciano has been this year, picking up hits in all but four games. The 20-year-old shortstop is widely considered among the top few prospects in the organization, and he's continued justifying that status so far this year.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Back on bench Tuesday
Perdomo is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.
Perdomo's ability to switch hit and play multiple infield spots allowed him to pick up starts in four of the previous five games, but he did little to capitalize on the extra playing time, going 2-for-12 with three walks. Even though he's on the bench Tuesday, Perdomo could see semi-regular work until the Diamondbacks get Josh Rojas (oblique) back from the injured list, which may happen as early as this weekend.
-
Miguel Rojas 2B | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Resting Tuesday
Rojas is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Rojas had started six straight games after returning from an illness but went 4-for-22 at the plate over that stretch. He's now hitting just .185/.221/.277 on the year. Jon Berti will get the nod at shortstop Tuesday.
-
Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Marlins' Joey Wendle: Remains sidelined
Wendle (soreness) remains on the bench Tuesday against Arizona, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Wendle sat Monday due to general soreness and will remain on the bench for at least one more game. Brian Anderson will make another start at the hot corner.
-
Tommy Edman 2B | LAD
Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Back in action Tuesday
Edman (hip) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game against the Royals, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Just as manager Oliver Marmol suggested was the case, the left hip flexor soreness that Edman experienced in Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks was never a major concern, even though the 26-year-old was out of the lineup for Monday's 1-0 win over Kansas City. Edman's re-entry into the starting nine a day later implies that he was on the bench Monday mainly for precautionary purposes, so fantasy managers should bank on him playing in each of the Cardinals' remaining six games this week.
