Crawford went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a 5-4 win over the Padres on Friday.

Crawford took Chris Paddack deep to center to even the game at 1-1 in the second inning. The 33-year-old is hitting a respectable .262/.335/.463 with seven home runs and 26 RBI in 185 plate appearances.

Edman went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a second run scored during a 9-1 win over the Brewers in the second game of Friday's doubleheader.

After going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in the matinee as the Cards got shut out, Edman rebounded with a strong effort in the nightcap. The super-utility player hasn't matched last season's breakout performance and is slashing .260/.329/.383 with five homers, two steals, 26 RBI and 29 runs over 53 games.

Arcia went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during a 9-1 loss to the Cardinals in the second game of Friday's doubleheader.

After going 0-for-3 with an RBI in the matinee, Arcia ruined Daniel Ponce de Leon's no-hit bid with his sixth-inning blast in the nightcap. The shortstop is slashing .241/.298/.386 with five homers, two steals, 20 RBI and 20 runs over 57 games.

Mondesi went 3-for-3 with an RBI triple, two stolen bases and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Tigers.

Mondesi was just a homer shy of the cycle Friday. In the first inning, Mondesi and Whit Merrifield executed a double-steal after the former got aboard with a single. In the second, Mondesi had an RBI triple. He added a double in the fifth and stole third, which gave the speedy shortstop 24 stolen bases on the year. He's surged to end the season, going 11-for-19 with five steals, seven runs scored and four RBI in his last five games. Overall, he's produced four homers, three triples, 18 RBI and 30 runs scored in 57 contests.

Baez went 2-for-5 with a double and a solo home run in Friday's 10-0 win over the White Sox.

Baez hit his eighth home run of the season to lead off the fourth inning. The Chicago shortstop has had a down year with a .602 OPS, and manager David Ross has experimented with moving him down in the batting order at times, though he batted fifth Friday. Baez is capable of getting hot in a hurry, so perhaps a few good games this weekend could propel him into a productive playoff run starting next week.

Bogaerts is not in the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Bogaerts is riding an eight-game hitting streak, but if he wants to extend it Friday he'll have to do so in a pinch-hit appearance. Christian Arroyo gets the start in his absence.

Chang was optioned by Cleveland on Friday.

Cleveland's regular infielders have each started at least 54 of the team's 57 games thus far, leaving minimal opportunities for players like Chang. He's spent most of the year on the big-league roster but has made just three total starts and has received just 13 plate appearances. He'll make way on the big-league roster for Logan Allen, who was recalled in a corresponding move.

Seager went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in a win over Oakland on Thursday.

Seager belted his 15th homer of the year -- a 407-foot solo shot -- in the third inning and drove in another run on a sacrifice fly in the sixth. Over his last six games, the shortstop has gone 12-for-24 (.500) with three homers and seven RBI. Seager has posted a .325/.374/.620 slash line this season, but his advanced metrics suggest that he has been even better than his standard numbers indicate. Per Statcast, he leads qualified major-league hitters in xBA (.359) and xSLG (.718) while ranking fourth in hard-hit rate (57 percent), fifth in average exit velocity (93.6 mph), and seventh in barrel rate (16.4 percent).

Fletcher went 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Thursday's win over San Diego.

The three-hit effort was Fletcher's third in his last nine games. Over that stretch, he is hitting .385 with six runs and three RBI. Overall, he ranks fifth in the American League with a .316 average this season.

Turner (undisclosed) is starting at shortstop and leading off Thursday against the Mets.

He was scratched from Wednesday's lineup with an undisclosed issue, but is thankfully back in action. Turner is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak and is hitting .284 with three home runs and nine steals in 23 games this month.
