Bogaerts is not in the lineup Monday against the Rays, Steve Hewitt of the Boston Herald reports.

Bogaerts will head to the bench for what appears to be a routine day off following a string of 10 consecutive starts. Through 18 games this month, the shortstop is slashing .274/.338/.411 with two home runs and four doubles. Chris Owings is starting at shortstop in place of Bogaerts in this one.

DeJong went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a win over the Cubs on Sunday.

DeJong made a notable contribution to the postseason-clinching win, knocking a 437-foot shot to left in the third to erase an early 1-0 deficit. The slugging shortstop isn't finding much success during a tough September at the plate (.195 average), yet eight (three doubles, five homers) of his 15 hits on the month have gone for extra bases, leading to a solid 12 RBI.

Wendle went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs in a loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.

Wendle's 354-foot shot to left in the third marked his first time leaving the yard at Tropicana Field since Aug. 5, 2018, making it 59 games and 189 at-bats between round trippers on his home turf. The utility man's bat has heated up at the right time of the season after an extended slump, as he's now hitting .297 with four extra-base hits (two doubles, one triple, one home run) and six RBI in September to boost his season average 25 points to .234.

Arcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's victory over the Pirates.

The home run was Arcia's first since Aug. 18, and the RBI was only his fourth in September. Despite the offensive struggles, Arcia's defense is still earning him regular playing time at shortstop; he has started all but two games at the position since returning from paternity leave Sept. 12.

Seager went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a victory over Colorado on Sunday.

Seager collected his second hit of the game with a 428-foot shot to right center field in the seventh inning. The 25-year-old has now registered exactly two hits in each of his last six games, hitting an even .500 (12-for-24) with a pair of homers and eight RBI over that span. Seager is slashing .273/.336/.478 with 18 homers and 82 RBI in 129 games overall this season.

Diaz went 3-for-4 with a homer, three RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 13-5 win over the Angels.

Diaz's three-run homer in the sixth inning was his eighth of the season and first since Aug. 2. The 29-year-old infielder owns a .794 OPS as a strong depth option for Houston.

Mondesi has been ruled out for the season and will visit a team physician Monday as the Royals look to determine the severity of his shoulder injury and identify a treatment plan, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Mondesi exited Sunday's game against the Twins in the first inning after his left shoulder popped out of its socket while he made a diving stop in the field. He dislocated the same shoulder back in July and will need to take some time off to heal, though it's not yet known if offseason surgery will be in the works. Despite being limited to just 102 games due to health issues, Mondesi wraps up a banner campaign with nine home runs, 62 RBI, 58 runs and 43 stolen bases to go with a .263/.291/.424 slash line.

Chang is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Chang went 1-for-10 with a double while starting at third base in each of the Tribe's last three games, with Cleveland opposing left-handed pitching in each of those contests. He'll bow out of the lineup in favor of platoon mate Ryan Flaherty in the series finale, but both players should be headed for permanent bench roles during the upcoming week with top third baseman Jose Ramirez (hand) on track to return from the injured list ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus the White Sox.

Adrianza (oblique) took swings on the field and participated in infield work Saturday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Manager Rocco Baldelli noted that Adrianza looked to be close to full strength during the workout, but the skipper was unwilling to commit to the utility man playing again in 2019. Adrianza has been out of action since Sept. 12 with the right oblique strain.

Mondesi was removed from Sunday's game against the Twins in the first inning with an apparent shoulder injury, Joel Goldberg of Fox Sports Kansas City reports.

Mondesi got hurt on a diving play in the infield and was spotted holding his left shoulder while walking off the field. Considering the shoulder is the same one that he dislocated in mid-July, there's legitimate reason to believe the Royals may hold him out for additional contests. Before departing Sunday, Mondesi went 1-for-1 with his 43rd stolen base of the season, leaving him two bags behind the Mariners' Mallex Smith for the major-league lead.
