Seager went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a rout of the Marlins on Tuesday.

Seager went deep in the fourth inning, belting a 392-foot shot to right field. The blast snapped a 13-game homerless drought in which Seager batted .191 (9-for-47). On the season, he is slashing .265/.341/.441 with 10 home runs and 49 RBI in 384 plate appearances.

Diaz started both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader at third base in place of the injured Alex Bregman (shoulder). He went a combined 1-for-5 with three walks and a run scored in a split with the White Sox.

Diaz continues to fill in at a number of positions for the Astros. After manning first base for a resting Yuli Gurriel on Sunday, he moved across the diamond Tuesday. Bregman is still feeling the after-effects of getting hit by a pitch during Sunday's loss to the Orioles.

Ahmed went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and three RBI in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Rockies.

Ahmed is sizzling at the plate, cranking out a homer for a third consecutive game while going 6-for-12 with nine RBI during that stretch. He's actually been hot for a longer period, as he's slashing .304/.388/.548 with seven home runs, 29 RBI and 22 runs scored over the 34 games he's played since July 2. Once considered employable for his glove solely, the shortstop's bat has caught up in 2019. Plate discipline appears to be the key. Two seasons ago, Ahmed swung at 39.6 percent of the pitches outside the zone, lowered that figure 31.5 percent last season and has further whittled it down to 27.1 percent during the current campaign.

Fletcher went 4-for-4 with a double and a walk while scoring three times in a loss to Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Fletcher doubled to lead off the game and came around to score the Angels' first run, then went on to produce three singles and a walk while scoring twice more in the contest. The performance snapped a cold spell in which Fletcher hit .132 (7-for-53) over 13 games. The 25-year-old is slashing .284/.343/.392 in 463 plate appearances this season.

Lindor went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a caught stealing in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Red Sox.

Lindor came through with a clutch game-tying double during the ninth inning, but he took himself out of scoring position as he was thrown out trying to steal third base. The 25-year-old has a modest seven-game hit streak in which he is 9-for-27 with five doubles and seven walks.

Arcia is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Twins.

He has been out of the lineup for three of the last four games, but the Brewers have been facing a southpaw in all three games he has sat. Arcia is pretty bad against righties and lefties, but Hernan Perez, who is starting at shortstop and hitting eighth, has a career 89 wRC+ against lefties, which is pretty good compared to Arcia (73 wRC+).

Franco has gone 11-for-41 (.268 average) with a 4:4 BB:K across his last 10 games with High-A Charlotte.

Franco's recent performance represents a relative downturn, which serves as a testament to the 18-year-old's immense talent. Since moving up to High-A a little less than two months ago, Franco has continued to display a highly polished hit tool, striking out just 11 times in 168 plate appearances (6.5 percent). The shortstop should gradually tap into more power as his body matures, but his .333/.405/.486 slash line (161 wRC+) is still good enough to make him a star player in the Florida State League. He's the undisputed No. 1 prospect in baseball, and that seems unlikely to change until he ultimately reaches the majors.

Bichette went 4-for-6 with two doubles, three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Rangers.

The hits, and extra-base hits, just keep on coming for the rookie. Bichette has now played 15 games since his promotion and has collected multiple knocks in nine of them en route to a stunning .394/.444/.742 slash line. It hasn't been entirely smooth sailing for the 21-year-old -- he's just 2-for-5 on steal attempts -- but for the most part, Bichette looks just as much like a future star as teammate Vlad GUerrero Jr.

Turner went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Monday's win over the Reds.

His three-run homer in the fourth inning gave the Nats a four-run lead at the time, but it was Turner's seventh-inning RBI single that ended up providing the winning run. The shortstop is now slashing .290/.352/.482 on the year with 11 homers, 25 steals, 33 RBI and 57 runs in 79 games.

Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and four RBI to help the Diamondbacks to an 8-6 win over the Rockies on Monday.

It was the second straight game with a long ball for the 29-year-old shortstop, who cranked his 13th of the season with this sixth-inning two-run shot off Jake McGee, while also adding his 25th two-bagger of the year. He's now slashing .267/.328/.438 across 462 plate appearances -- numbers that would all represent career highs if he's able to maintain his pace through the rest of the season.
