Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and four RBI to help the Diamondbacks to an 8-6 win over the Rockies on Monday.

It was the second straight game with a long ball for the 29-year-old shortstop, who cranked his 13th of the season with this sixth-inning two-run shot off Jake McGee, while also adding his 25th two-bagger of the year. He's now slashing .267/.328/.438 across 462 plate appearances -- numbers that would all represent career highs if he's able to maintain his pace through the rest of the season.

Story stayed locked in at the dish, as he's now hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, logging five homers, four doubles and a triple over that stretch. Edman went 3-for-5 with two runs in a win over the Pirates on Sunday.

All three of Edman's hits were singles, but it was still another highly productive day for the rookie out of the leadoff spot. Edman now has three consecutive multi-hit tallies and a four-game hitting streak overall, a span during which he has a pair of doubles and a triple.

Diaz started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a walk in Sunday's 8-7 loss to Baltimore.

Diaz started at first while Yuli Gurriel received an off day. Since returning from a hamstring injury in July, Diaz is batting .241 (7-for-29) over nine games while playing every infield position and left field.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Athletics.

Anderson has hit safely in 10 straight games, going 18-for-43 (.419) with a 1.026 OPS. It would be nice to see that hitting produce runs, but it hasn't as Anderson has just one RBI (a home run) during his streak. Most of his plate appearances this season have come from the second and seventh spots in the order, which are not traditionally run-producing slots.

Ahmed went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Ahmed has slowly provided power for the Diamondbacks in 2019 while maintaining a better batting average than he did last season when he bopped a career-high 16 homers along with a .234 average. Sunday's blast was Ahmed's 12th, while the shortstop is hitting a career-best .264.

Correa went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's loss to Baltimore.

Correa launched a three-run homer in the second inning, but the Astros would fall in the series finale. The 24-year-old finished out his team's weekend series on a high note, going 5-for-11 with two homers and five RBI over his last two contests.

Bichette went 2-for-4 in Sunday's loss to the Yankees.

Bichette went 0-for-7 to begin Toronto's weekend series with New York, but he managed to scratch across a pair of base knocks Sunday in a 1-0 loss. The 21-year-old rookie continues to rack up hits in the big leagues, slashing .367/.424/.717 with 13 extra-base hits and seven RBI over 14 games.

Luciano was promoted to short-season Salem-Keizer, Giants Prospects reports.

The top prospect to sign on July 2, 2018, Luciano hit .322/.438/.616 with 10 home runs and eight steals in the AZL. He turns 18 in September and is one of the most exciting prospects in the minor leagues.
