Seager went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and four RBI in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

Seager plated two runs with a double in the fifth inning and repeated the feat in the seventh. The 25-year-old has hit 41 two-baggers this season and has produced the last two 40-plus doubles tallies on the Dodgers, having previously achieved the feat in 2016.

Rojas went 4-for-6 with three doubles and six RBI to help the Marlins to a 12-6 victory over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

It was a massive game for Rojas, who drove in half of his team's runs on the strength of a trio of two-baggers. He hasn't provided much power this season, with just five homers in 122 games, but the 30-year-old has managed a solid .288 average and the three doubles give him 27 this season. Still, he's slugging just .388, so performances like this haven't been a particularly common occurrence.

Baez (thumb) will be re-evaluated at the end of the week, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Baez could gain clearance to begin rehabbing if his evaluation goes well at the end of the week. He's been out with a hairline fracture on his left thumb since Sept. 7 and is unlikely to return before the postseason.

Ahmed was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Marlins due to a finger injury, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

Ahmed was slated to start at shortstop Tuesday, but Arizona has determined that he's unable to go after suffering a finger injury during Monday night's contest. Ildemaro Vargas will replace Ahmed at shortstop.

Mondesi went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and two RBI in Monday's 6-5 win over the Athletics.

Mondesi's slugging percentage is down 59 points from his breakthrough 2018 campaign, but the 24-year-old has more or less lived up to fantasy managers' draft-day expectations when he's been healthy enough to play. The shortstop has overcome a shaky plate approach to maintain a .270 average, with his elite speed and 38.4 percent hard-hit rate offering some legitimacy to his elevated .362 BABIP. And though he was caught stealing Monday, Mondesi has been the majors' most prolific base stealer on a per-game basis, nabbing 39 bags in just 96 contests.

Arcia isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

Arcia doubled home a run Monday night in the series opener, but with Cory Spangenberg swinging a hot bat, he'll catch a breather. Spangenberg draws the start at shortstop and is set to hit ninth.

Story went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk Monday in the Rockies' 9-4 win over the Mets.

Story's 33rd home run of the season punctuated a five-run inning for the Rockies, who rolled to their fourth consecutive win. The shortstop will hit leadoff in Tuesday's contest and looks poised to hold down that spot in the lineup for the rest of the season with manager Bud Black having seemingly settled on Charlie Blackmon as the team's cleanup batter.

Ahmed (finger) is starting at shortstop and batting seventh Tuesday against Miami.

Ahmed had to leave Monday evening's contest after injuring a finger on his throwing hand, but he's been cleared to return to action Tuesday. He went 0-for-3 at the dish in the series opener prior to exiting.

Chang isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers.

Chang was also held out of Sunday's matchup, so following a team off day, he'll receive a third straight day of rest. Mike Freeman gets the call at the hot corner and will hit fifth.

Velazquez was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Velazquez will take the place of Jason Kipnis, who will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured hand. Velazquez is set to start at second base and hit ninth Tuesday against Detroit.
