Correa (nose) underwent surgery to repair a deviated septum Monday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Correa acknowledged that he was having issues breathing on the diamond during games this past year, so he elected to go the surgical route in order to correct this problem before the 2019 campaign. On the flip side, the shortstop stated that he doesn't expect to require back surgery this offseason after battling a back injury dating back to late June. Across 110 games this past year, he slashed .239/.323/.405 and will benefit from a few months of rest to get back to 100 percent.

Seager (elbow/hip) is close to beginning a throwing program, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Seager is currently working his way back from a pair of procedures he underwent during the season -- Tommy John surgery in May followed by a procedure in August to repair a torn left hip labrum. While the shortstop has yet to resume throwing or running, he's expected to do so in time for him to be ready for Opening Day, barring any setbacks.

Swanson underwent surgery Wednesday to remove a loose body from his left wrist. He's expected to be fully operational prior to spring training, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Swanson was forced to miss the final week of the regular season (and the NLDS) after suffering a partially torn ligament in his left hand. The shortstop apparently sustained a wrist injury as well, though this should be considered more of a "cleanup procedure" than anything and all signs point toward the 24-year-old being ready to go without any restrictions or limitations when spring training commences. In 136 games this year, he slashed .238/.304/.395 with 14 home runs, 59 RBI and 10 stolen bases.

Correa is starting at shortstop and hitting cleanup in Game 5 of the ALCS against the Red Sox on Thursday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa is in the midst of a five-game hitting streak -- including a three-hit, two-RBI effort in Game 4 on Wednesday -- prompting manager A.J. Hinch to move the shortstop to the heart of the order after hitting him no higher than sixth through the team's first seven games of the postseason. Correa, who is hitting .280/.419/.440 with a 6:6 K:BB so far this postseason, will face southpaw David Price in this one.

Adrianza is expected to be ready to go by Opening Day after undergoing surgery to repair the labrum in his left shoulder Tuesday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Adrianza suffered a tear in his labrum near the beginning of September, though he continued to play through the injury for the remainder of the season before opting to go under the knife. The procedure typically carries a 3-to-4 month recovery timeline; with the start of spring training a little more than four months away, the utility man should be good to go before the start of the season, barring any setbacks. Assuming he's healthy, Adrianza should have an inside track to a spot on the Twins' Opening Day roster as a utility option.

Adrianza will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair the labrum in his left shoulder, Mike Berardino of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Adrianza first tweaked his shoulder in the Twins' series in Texas that ran from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, but he proceeded to play through the injury the rest of the way, appearing in 20 of the team's final 26 contests. The procedure should eliminate the discomfort Adrianza endured throughout September, but an official timetable for his recovery won't be known until after surgery is completed. If he's fully healthy by the end of spring training, Adrianza should have an inside track to a spot on the Twins' Opening Day roster as a utility option.

Lindor went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Astros.

Despite Lindor's best efforts, the Indians' season ended Monday as Cleveland was swept by the Astros. Lindor will enter the 2019 season as one the top fantasy options in all of baseball.

Arcia is out of the lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS against Colorado on Friday.

Arcia will retreat to a spot on the pine after going 1-for-4 during Thursday's victory. In his place, Hernan Perez is set to man the shortstop position and bat sixth in the order. Look for Arcia to be available as a defensive replacement.

Berti was designated for assignment by Toronto on Friday.

In order to make room for Julian Merryweather (elbow) -- who was acquired by the team as the player to be named later in the Josh Donaldson deal -- Berti was cast off the 40-man roster. Berti was called up by the Blue Jays in late September, and went 4-for-15 with two extra-base hits and two RBI during his first taste of the majors. The 28-year-old will take a spin through waivers to see where he will end up.

Swanson (hand) is not on Atlanta's 25-man roster for the NLDS against the Dodgers.

As expected, Swanson remains sidelined with a partially torn ligament in his left hand that he suffered Sept. 25 versus the Mets. It comes as no surprise that he was withheld from this round of play since manager Brian Snitker acknowledged Tuesday that Swanson was "doubtful" to return in time to play this series. Since rosters are flexible following each round of the postseason, Swanson could return for the NLCS should the Braves advance.
