Crawford was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic Philadelphia reports.

Crawford hadn't appeared in a game since returning from the disabled list Aug. 10, and there isn't a clear path to playing time following the acquisition of Asdrubal Cabrera, so he'll head back to the minors for some more consistent playing time. The 23-year-old has hit just .194/.312/.333 across 34 big-league games this season. Hector Neris was recalled from the minors in a corresponding move.

DeJong went 1-for-5 with a walkoff solo home run in the Cardinals' 7-6 victory over the Nationals on Monday.

The Cardinals overcame a two-run deficit in the final two innings to come away with the win, with DeJong providing the knockout blow to lead off the bottom of the ninth. DeJong's OPS has fallen more than 90 points from his rookie season, but the shortstop has turned in one of his more productive stretches of the campaign over the past week. He has recorded a hit in each of his last seven games, homering four times and driving in nine runs over that span.

Crawford was removed from Monday's game against the Dodgers following a collision with Gorkys Hernandez in left field, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic Bay Area reports.

Crawford appeared to take a knee to the head during the collision, and while he batted the following inning, Alen Hanson entered the game at shortstop shortly after. The extent of Crawford's injury is currently unknown, but more news should surface after further evaluation.

Rojas was diagnosed with a left ankle bruise after leaving Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Braves.

This is relatively good news for the Marlins, as Rojas will be considered day-to-day moving forward. He'll likely be reevaluated prior to Tuesday's matchup before a decision on his status is made.

Rojas left the night cap of Monday's doubleheader against Atlanta with an apparent ankle injury, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas grabbed his ankle after being thrown out on a play at third base. The severity of the issue should be revealed after further evaluation, but he'll be considered day-to-day for now. Yadiel Rivera entered the ballgame at third base to replace the injured Rojas.

Gordon (shoulder) was removed from Monday's lineup against the Athletics prior to game time, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Gordon was originally penciled into the lineup at second base and he was slated to bat eighth, but Andrew Romine will be forced into action instead. Gordon has been dealing with a shoulder issue as of Sunday, and it appears the injury is still bothering him, so the Mariners will hold him out as a precaution. Expect the 30-year-old to be evaluated once he arrives at the ballpark ahead of Tuesday's tilt.

Gordon (shoulder) is starting at second base and hitting eighth Monday against the A's, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Gordon has been cleared to rejoin the lineup after being withheld from the starting nine Sunday due to a shoulder issue. The speedster was able to collect a hit -- and eventually score the winning run -- in a pinch hit appearance in the 10th inning Sunday, so fantasy owners should feel safe deploying him this week. Gordon is off to a slow start to the second half of the season (.256/.293/.308), but he's still hitting .278/.300/.339 with 27 stolen bases through 107 games this season.

Gordon (shoulder) entered the Mariners' extra-inning win over the Astros on Sunday as a pinch hitter in the 10th inning, singling and subsequently scoring the go-ahead run.

Gordon's shoulder issues didn't prevent him from hitting successfully for Andrew Romine in the 10th, setting him up to eventually score what would turn out to be the winning run on Mitch Haniger's double. Gordon may be back in the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Athletics, although manager Scott Servais could opt to give him consecutive days off for the second time this month.

Rojas is not in the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Braves, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Rojas is riding a five-game hitting streak. He could get a chance to extend that in the evening portion of Monday's doubleheader, but likely not in the afternoon game, as J.T. Riddle will get the start at shortstop.

Swanson is not in the lineup for the afternoon portion of Monday's doubleheader against the Marlins.

Swanson is hitting just 4-for-29 in the month of August. Charlie Culberson will get the call at shortstop in his place.
