Ahmed went 1-for-5 with a walk and a pair of stolen bases Monday in the Diamondbacks' 3-2 win over the Phillies in 14 innings.

With the Diamondbacks looking to generate the game-winning run late in the contest, Ahmed was given a rare green light on the basepaths both times he reached first. He claimed second base as part of a double steal in the ninth inning and then nabbed another steal in the 11th, doubling up his season stolen-base total in the process. While the pair of thefts were welcome contributions, Ahmed should continue to deliver most his fantasy value through his power production. Ahmed's 16 home runs on the campaign are tied for fifth among all qualified shortstops.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, his 25th of the season, and two RBI in Monday's win over the Royals.

Baez continued his ridiculous stretch at the plate, as he now has six home runs, 14 RBI and a 1.467 OPS over his past 10 games. With the way the 25-year-old has been playing this season, he could join teammate Kris Bryant as a National League MVP winner when all is said and done, especially if he keeps up his recent pace through the end of the year.

Crawford went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Astros.

Crawford returned to the lineup after getting a day of rest Sunday, providing the only offense the Giants could muster against Charlie Morton in the form of his 11th homer of the season. The 31-year-old's production has petered off over his last 30 contests (.191/.276/.255), but he can still provide decent counting stats at the shortstop position while batting in the heart of the order.

Correa (back) is expected to come off the disabled list sometime this weekend, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Correa will play two more games at Double-A Corpus Christi on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the hope he'll play in the field for all nine innings. If all goes well, the Astros are optimistic that he'll return to the big club over the weekend, as they are scheduled for a four-game series with Seattle.

Seager will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left hip Tuesday.

Seager had already been ruled out for the remainder of the 2018 season, as he had successful Tommy John surgery back in May. Despite going under the knife for the second time in a little over three months, Seager is expected to resume baseball activities in January, and if that timetable holds, he will be fully ready for spring training.

Gordon (ankle) is starting at second base and leading off Monday against the Rangers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Gordon has been cleared to rejoin the lineup after missing a pair of games over the weekend due to an ankle injury. The speedster, who is hitting .302/.327/.340 with four stolen bases in 13 games since the All-Star Break, will face southpaw Martin Perez in his first game back.

Mondesi (shoulder) is starting at second base and hitting seventh Monday against the Cubs, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Mondesi is good to go after missing the previous two games with a minor shoulder injury. The 23-year-old is hitting .269/.283/.413 with three homers and 11 stolen bases in 31 games with the Royals this season.

Rojas is not in the lineup Monday against the Cardinals, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.

Rojas has hit .262 with a .660 OPS since the All-Star break, right in line with the .255 average and .658 OPS he's posted overall. J.T. Riddle will get the call at shortstop in his absence.

Correa (back) went 2-for-4 with a double for Double-A Corpus Christi on Sunday.

This was the third game of a rehabilitation assignment for Correa, who is 3-for-10 with a home run, a double and four strikeouts. Two more boxes were checked: he played all nine innings and played on back-to-back days. The one caveat here is that Correa served as designated hitter for all nine innings and has yet to play a full game in the field. He's likely to rejoin the team when it kicks off a homestand Thursday against the Mariners, but the Astros might consider ending Correa's rehab stint early given the state of health on the parent club. George Springer (thumb) left Sunday's game early while Jose Altuve (knee) flew back to Houston to visit with team doctors.

Diaz went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, double and two runs scored Sunday against the Mariners.

Diaz took Mike Leake deep for his 14th home run of the season and accounted for the majority of the Blue Jays offense in the process. He has seen regular at-bats since Lourdes Gurriel (knee, ankle) hit the disabled list and has taken advantage by going 10-for-29 with five home runs, seven RBI and 10 runs scored since July 29. While Brandon Drury still poses a threat to take away at-bats from him, the Blue Jays could choose to continue to ride Diaz's hot bat.
