Rojas was removed from Monday's tilt against Atlanta due to back spasms, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

It's currently unknown if Rojas will be healthy enough to play Tuesday, although he'll likely be reevaluated prior to the tilt. Rojas went 1-for-2 with a walk prior to leaving the ballgame.

Manager Ned Yost said Mondesi will likely return from the Family Medical Emergency List prior to Tuesday's game, Rustin Dodd of The Athletic reports.

Mondesi was placed on emergency leave prior to Friday's series opener against Minnesota, but it appears as though he's nearing a return to the active roster as the team begins a three-game set versus Detroit on Monday. Across 21 games with the Royals this year, he's slashed .250/.270/.444 with 11 RBI and five stolen bases.

Ahmed is not in the lineup Monday against the Cubs.

Ahmed had a three-RBI day Sunday in Colorado but won't get the chance to build on that performance right away. Ketel Marte will slide over to shortstop, with Daniel Desclaso starting at second base.

Diaz is not in the starting lineup versus Minnesota on Monday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Diaz went 0-for-3 during Sunday's series finale against Baltimore after picking up six hits during the first two games of the series. He will get a day off while Lourdes Gurriel draws a start at shortstop for Monday's tilt.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 8-2 loss to Seattle.

The White Sox were no-hit through 5.2 innings before Adam Engel's infield single preceded Anderson's 14th homer of the season. He had began the year with 11 homers over the first 50 games, but Anderson's pace has fallen to just three long balls over his last 45. Still, the 25-year-old shortstop, who has stolen 21 bases, is threatening to post his first 20-20 season.

Correa (back) has begun playing catch and running, but has not been cleared to swing a bat, Austin Laymance of the Houston Chronicle reports.

For the first time we're learning that Correa suffered a setback over the All-Star break when the injured shortstop felt discomfort swinging a bat. Manager A.J. Hinch said there is no timetable for that to happen. "We're just progressing him slowly," Hinch said. "He's pain free. He's doing better. It's just a slow process to get him back to doing more hitting and fielding." The Astros aren't expecting Correa back in the majors for at least two weeks, a period of time that will include a rehabilitation stint.

Rojas went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Rays.

Rojas drove in a pair of runs in the second inning as the Marlins got out to an early lead only to collapse in the bottom of the ninth. He went 3-for-8 with a double and three RBI during Miami's first series out of the All-Star break. Rojas has pieced together an uninspiring .257/.311/.352 batting line through 98 games this season.

Fletcher went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI to help the Angels to a 14-5 romp over Houston on Friday.

It was the second straight multi-hit game for the 24-year-old, who managed to play a part in four of the Angels' 14 runs on the day hitting out of the nine spot in the order. He's hitting .273 over his 88 at-bats this season, but he hasn't provided enough power between his one home run and .364 slugging percentage to have made much of a fantasy impact in his brief time at the big-league level so far.

Ahmed went 2-for-3 with a triple, walk and three RBI in the Diamondbacks' 6-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Ahmed's two-run triple in the fourth inning was his 37th extra-base hit of the season, placing him sixth in the majors among all qualifying shortstops. The 28-year-old's uptick in power production has increased his relevance in deeper mixed leagues, but a .231 batting average remains the chief reason why he's not a must-start option in shallower settings.

Correa (back) played catch and participated in baserunning drills Saturday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The Astros are surely encouraged by Correa incorporating baseball activities into his rehab regimen, but manager A.J. Hinch suggested that the star shortstop is still at least a couple weeks away from returning to action. In addition to stepping up the intensity of his running program, Correa will need to ramp up his hitting and fielding in workouts and then complete a minor-league rehab assignment before an activation date will come into focus. Marwin Gonzalez and Alex Bregman will continue to see most of the action at shortstop until Correa is deemed fully healthy.
