  • Braves' Johan Camargo: Gets activated Monday

Camargo (knee) will be activated from the 10-day disabled list ahead of Monday's game against the Rangers,

The Braves haven't revealed their lineup for the series opener, but even if Camargo isn't included in the starting nine, it's expected that he'll see the bulk of the work at third base over the final month of the season. Prior to suffering a freak right knee injury while running onto the field before an Aug. 8 game, Camargo was enjoying a productive rookie season, slashing .292/.327/.454 across 197 plate appearances.

  • Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: May return Monday

Bogaerts, who has sat out the last three games, could return to the lineup Monday against Toronto, according to manager John Farrell, Chad Jennings of the Boston Herald reports.

Farrell mentioned Bogaerts being "banged up" and cited a litany of minor ailments while also acknowledging the three-game break was about giving him a break after a two-month slump -- a downturn that can be traced back to when he was hit by a pitch on the hand July 6. Monday is a good spot for Bogaerts, as the Red Sox will be facing a left-hander (J.A. Happ) in the series opener against the Blue Jays. He has an .820 career OPS against southpaws.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Returns from DL

Correa went 1-for-3 with an RBI single a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 8-6 win over the Mets.

This was Correa's first game back since tearing a ligament in his left thumb July 17. Hand injuries can be tricky to return from, so we'll have to watch to see if he experiences any problems with swing mechanics or a drop-off in power.

  • Indians' Francisco Lindor: Continues power surge Sunday

Lindor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and a walk in Sunday's 11-1 crushing of the Tigers.

The shortstop's sixth-inning blast pushed his career-high total to 26 on the year. Lindor has 12 home runs through 200 second-half at-bats, compared to 14 blasts in 349 at-bats prior to the break. His OPS has jumped 50 points since the Midsummer Classic, and the 23-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down in the campaign's final month. He's hit safely in nine of his last 10 games while popping a deep fly in seven of his last 14 contests.

  • Dansby Swanson SS | CHC

Braves' Dansby Swanson: Swinging hot bat since returning to majors

Swanson went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored and an RBI Sunday against the Cubs.

Swanson's been much better at the plate since being recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett following a midseason demotion and has now reached base multiple times in 12 of his past 17 games. The first overall pick in the 2015 draft still owns a subpar .238/.319/.342 line, but keep in mind he was sitting at .215/.290/.319 on Aug. 18.

  • Tim Anderson 2B | LAA

White Sox's Tim Anderson: Drives in three in win

Anderson went 3-for-4 with a double, a solo home run, three RBI and two runs scored during Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.

With a .243/.262/.395 slash line for the campaign, Anderson's fantasy value is limited to deep settings. However, Sunday's blast was his 15th of the campaign, and the White Sox are going to be rolling out an impressive collection of young talents sooner than later, so his long-term outlook remains favorable.

  • Red Sox's Xander Bogaerts: Benched for third straight game

Bogaerts is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

With Bogaerts struggling to produce since returning from a hand injury, manager John Farrell will keep the shortstop on the bench for a third straight game in favor of Eduardo Nunez. It doesn't sound as though Farrell plans to proceed with Nunez as his primary option at the position, so Bogaerts' string of absences may be designed to give him more time to heal up and refine his approach in batting practice. That being said, with Bogaerts' playing-time outlook uncertain heading into the coming week, it may be tough to justify activating him in most shallow leagues.

  • Javier Baez SS | DET

Cubs' Javier Baez: Early exit following collision at second base

Baez was forced to exit Sunday's game following a collision at second base, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Baez appeared to take a knee to the head in the collision and wasn't quite himself afterward. Look for the team to clarify his status when more information is known, but for now, Mike Freeman will take over at shortstop. Baez drew a walk in his only at-bat prior to the early exit.

  • Carlos Correa SS | HOU

Astros' Carlos Correa: Batting cleanup in return to lineup

Correa (thumb), who was activated from the 10-day disabled list earlier Sunday, will start at shortstop and bat fourth in the Astros' series finale with the Mets.

As expected, manager A.J. Hinch will waste no time ushering the superstar back into the lineup, allowing the Astros to give a breather to utility man Marwin Gonzalez. Correa batted .292 during his six-game rehab assignment, so fantasy owners probably shouldn't have many reservations of activating the shortstop heading into the upcoming week.

  • Marlins' Dee Gordon: Day off Sunday

Gordon is out of the lineup Sunday against the Phillies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Coming off nine straight starts at second base, Gordon will get the day off for the series finale. Derek Dietrich will take over at the keystone in his stead, while also batting atop the order. It's a tough break for fantasy owners to see Gordon sit, as he's been on fire of late. He has 15 base knocks in only his last seven games, and is getting on base at a .516 clip over that stretch.
