Story went 2-for-4 with a ninth-inning stolen base and the game-tying run in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Mets.

After a leadoff single, Story swiped second and scored on an error to tie the game and hand Mets closer Jeurys Familia a blown save. The steal was just his eighth in 13 tries this year, which may be less than fantasy owners expected after he swiped 20-plus in three straight minor league seasons -- but when you've hit 27 homers, that sure does go a long way toward making up for it.

Gordon is back atop the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cardinals after serving his 80-game suspension, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Gordon will finally return to the lineup for the first time since April 28. If the speedy second baseman can return to his 2015 form that saw him hit .333/.359/.418 with eight triples and 58 stolen bases, he will provide a huge boost for fantasy owners and the Marlins as they continue to contend for a playoff spot. With Gordon back, Derek Dietrich will likely see his playing time at second base decrease, but could continue to get some reps at first base with Justin Bour on the 15-day DL and Chris Johnson day-to-day with a foot injury.

Gordon was reinstated from the restricted list Thursday and is expected to return to action against the Cardinals, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.

Gordon is done serving his 80-game suspension and he will take over the duties at the keystone for the Marlins. There has been plenty of speculation about how much of Gordon's production in recent years was PED-fueled, but he has always been a burner, so at the very least he should provide plenty of steals going forward. Don Kelly was designated for assignment as a corresponding move.

Owings is out of the lineup Thursday against the Brewers.

He has been seeing everyday at-bats since Nick Ahmed (hip) landed on the DL, but he will take a seat Thursday as Jean Segura gets the start at shortstop and Phil Gosselin gets the nod at the keystone. Still just 24 years old, Owings is a sneaky middle infield option in deeper formats, as he offers a middling batting average (.264) with some speed (nine steals).

Bogaerts hit his 12th homer of the season in Boston's 4-3 loss to Detroit on Wednesday.

The power game that was lacking his first few seasons is coming along. Bogaerts' .478 slugging percentage is a career high and the 12 homers matches the high-water mark he set in 2014. The difference being that Bogaerts' 12th homer in 2016 came in his 97th game while it took him 134 games to hit 12 homers in 2014. Enjoy this blossoming young hitter, who ranks 13th with a 4.0 WAR according to FanGraphs.

Turner went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in Wednesday's game against the Indians.

Washington's been searching for production from the leadoff spot, and perhaps the club has found it with Turner. Hitting atop the lineup over the last three games, the 23-year-old sophomore is 6-for-13 with two doubles, one triple, three RBI, three runs and two stolen bases. Turner played the outfield for the second straight day in this one, but manager Dusty Baker wouldn't commit to playing Turner out there once the team returns to NL parks and loses the DH. If Turner does in fact earn an everyday spot, he's worth a pickup in most formats, especially if Baker inserts him in the leadoff spot.

Turner got the start in center field Tuesday and went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and his fifth stolen base of the season.

The Nationals, who have lost six of their last eight games, are looking for someone to spark their offense and the speedy Turner might just fit the bill. All five of his steals have come in his last seven games, although he's hitting just .250 (8-for-32) during that stretch. With Ryan Zimmerman off the DL and Daniel Murphy shifted back to second base, Turner's best route to playing time will likely continue to be in center at the expense of the struggling Ben Revere.

Mondesi went 0-for-3 in his MLB debut while batting ninth for the Royals on Tuesday night.

The Royals' offense has been pretty anemic this season (last in the AL in runs scored), so Mondesi's placement at the bottom of the order could be particularly problematic if he's unable to push his way to a more prominent spot in the coming weeks.

Crawford went 3-for-5 with a two-run triple and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-7 victory over the Reds.

Crawford and pitcher Matt Cain were the only Giants to pick up extra-base hits in what was otherwise a methodical but effective performance by the Giants offense. Hopefully this performance gets the shortstop going, as he had failed to drive in a run in any of his previous nine games. His .158 isolated power is a far cry from last season's .205 mark.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Tuesday's matchup with Minnesota.

D'Arnuad will start the game on the bench for the sixth time since the start of the second half as Adonis Garcia fills in at third, batting fifth. After a 2-for-22 (.091) cold-stretch in the eight games entering the All-Star break, D'Arnaud has picked it up since then, collecting six hits in his last 19 at-bats (.316).
