Replacing him in the lineup is Ehire Adrianza, who will hit eighth. Crawford is having a fantastic season for the Giants, hitting .265 with 19 homers and 75 RBIs.

Astros rookie shortstop Carlos Correa is finally getting a day off, as he is being held out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's matinee against the Yankees. Correa had played in every inning of every game since July 3.
This will be Correa's second day off since being promoted to the Major Leagues back in early June. The hot-hitting rookie has cooled down a bit of late, as he is batting .231 with one home run and six RBI over his last 10 games.
Marwin Gonzalez will get the start at shortstop on Wednesday.

Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford left Tuesday's game against the Cubs in the eighth inning after experiencing tightness in his side. Crawford will have his injury checked out on Wednesday before determining if he will be available to play.
He was 0 for 3 with a pair of strikeouts before being removed from the game at the start of the eighth inning. Crawford said his side tightened up on him during his last at-bat.

Angels infielder Taylor Featherston began his rehab assignment with Triple-A Salt Lake City on Monday. The rookie went 1 for 4, serving as the Bees' shortstop.

Brock Holt will slide over to shortstop for Wednesday's matchup with the Indians.

The Angels have placed reliever Cory Rasmus and infielder Taylor Featherston on the disabled list, per the Orange County Register.
Rasmus is dealing with a forearm strain after losing much of the season to an abdominal injury. He goes down with a 5.06 ERA in seven apparances and four runs allowed in his last four innings pitched.
Featherston, who is sidelined with an upper back strain, owns a terrible slash line of .130/.198/.196 in 92 at-bats. He has been used mostly as a defensive replacement.
