  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Swipes two bags in win

Henderson went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Wednesday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Yankees.

Henderson has gone 16-for-51 (.314) with three home runs and three steals during his 12-game hitting streak. While he's struck out 16 times over that span, he's still making enough contact to be a huge positive atop the Orioles' lineup. For the season, the star shortstop is at a .273/.371/.582 slash line with a career-best 11 steals as well as 22 homers, 49 RBI and 59 runs scored over 72 contests.

  • Guardians' Daniel Schneemann: Picks up first steal

Schneemann went 0-for-3 with a walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Mariners.

Schneemann has gained traction in the lineup as a utility player -- Wednesday marked his fifth straight start. He got the nod at shortstop over Brayan Rocchio for this contest. Schneemann has done his part to stay in the lineup by hitting .333 through his first 12 major-league games. He's added four extra-base hits, six RBI, five runs scored, and his steal Wednesday was the first of his career. He also has a 7:9 BB:K so far, with his good plate discipline being a perfect fit for a Guardians team that prioritizes getting on base.

  • Romy Gonzalez 2B | BOS

Red Sox's Romy Gonzalez: Steals two bases in win

Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, one run scored and two steals in a 7-3 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Gonzalez reached on an error, stole second and came around to score in the third inning then added an RBI single and another steal in the sixth. After missing most of June with a hamstring injury, Gonzalez has appeared in three straight games and drew his first start of the season in center field. He has had trouble staying healthy this season and is hitting .279 with four steals over 43 at-bats.

  • Dansby Swanson SS | CHC

Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Goes deep again

Swanson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two additional RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Giants.

Swanson went deep for the second straight game against San Francisco, giving him eight home runs for the season. The shortstop is still off to a sluggish start overall with a .214 average and .660 OPS across 64 contests, though his recent form is indicative of the type of upside that Swanson possesses, giving him plenty of fantasy appeal moving forward.

  • C.J. Abrams SS | WAS

Nationals' CJ Abrams: Dealing with wrist issue

Abrams will undergo an MRI on his left wrist after being scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Diamondbacks, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The 23-year-old had a collision on a stolen-base attempt by Corbin Carroll during Tuesday's contest, though it's unclear if that's when the injury was sustained. Abrams should be considered day-to-day heading into Wednesday's series finale versus Arizona until the results of the MRI are reported.

  • Miguel Rojas SS | LAD

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Getting breather Wednesday

Rojas isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Rojas will take a seat Wednesday after going 4-for-9 with an RBI and three runs scored through the first two games of the series. He will be replaced at shortstop by Enrique Hernandez, who will bat eighth.

  • Jose Caballero 2B | NYY

Rays' Jose Caballero: Back on bench

Caballero is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.

Taylor Walls (illness) will return to the lineup at shortstop after missing the Rays' previous three games, leaving no room in the infield for Caballero. Though he's been an everyday player for most of the season and has racked up 22 stolen bases, Caballero looks like he could be limited to a part-time role now that Tampa Bay is back to full strength in the infield.

  • Greg Jones CF | MIL

Rockies' Greg Jones: Sent down to minors

The Rockies optioned Jones to Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Jones didn't play much during his nearly two-week stint in the majors, receiving just one start and six plate appearances. He's replaced on the roster by Sean Bouchard (ankle), who was reinstated from the injured list.

  • Taylor Walls 3B | TB

Rays' Taylor Walls: Returning to lineup

Walls (illness) will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Wednesday's game versus the Twins.

Walls was unavailable for a few days due to an illness, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go Wednesday. He's started at shortstop in six of 11 games since returning from the injured list June 7.

  • David Hamilton SS | MIL

Red Sox's David Hamilton: Checking back into starting nine

Hamilton (side) will start at shortstop and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Hamilton is back in the lineup after he was withheld from the starting nine Tuesday due to the left side injury he suffered in Monday's 7-3 win in the series opener. Despite opening Tuesday's 4-3 victory on the bench, Hamilton still made an impact with his legs, entering the game as a pinch runner in the eighth inning and contributing a stolen base and a run. With Hamilton checking out fine following his brief cameo Wednesday, he'll get the green light to start the series finale and will occupy a prominent spot in the batting order.
