Bassitt didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-4 win over Cleveland, allowing four hits and four walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out two.

The veteran right-hander was neither efficient nor dominant, managing only six swinging strikes and 56 total strikes among his 100 pitches, but Bassitt kept Guardians hitters off balance and didn't allow much hard contact -- all four hits off him were singles. After a bumpy beginning to his Baltimore tenure, Bassitt has given up just one earned run over his last two outings, but he still carries a 6.19 ERA, 2.13 WHIP and 7:11 K:BB through 16 innings on the season. He'll look to keep chipping away at those ratios in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come on the road next week in Kansas City.

Vest (1-3) allowed an unearned run on a hit and a walk across 1.1 innings of relief to take the loss Friday in extra innings against the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Vest covered the bottom of the ninth inning in a 0-0 game and was then asked to come back out in the 10th. The veteran uncorked a wild pitch and ended up allowing a single to Masataka Yoshida that brought home the automatic baserunner from third base to win the game for the Red Sox. Despite taking his third loss of the season, Vest managed to lower his ERA from 6.75 to 5.63, and he's only allowed two earned runs over his last six appearances to go along with 10 strikeouts, so he's pitching a bit better than his overall stats would suggest.

Chapman allowed a walk and two hits over a scoreless ninth inning in Friday's 1-0 extra-inning win over Detroit.

Chapman, pitching in a non-save situation, allowed base runners for the fifth consecutive outing. It may not be much of a concern at this point, but his 3.9 BB/9 this season is higher than his dominant 2025, when walked a career-low 2.2 batters per nine innings.

Wong went 1-for-2 with a walk and a double in Friday's 1-0 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

Wong recorded his fourth double of the season in the third inning but was stranded there. While the catching depth chart hasn't changed, it's hard to ignore Wong's production is better than that of starter Carlos Narvaez. Entering Saturday, Wong owns a 1.006 OPS, while Narvaez is at .409 and has struck out seven times over the last two games.

Collyer (1-0) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out two over 1.1 innings to earn the win in Friday's 5-0 victory over Seattle.

Collyer entered in the fifth inning with Texas leading, 2-0, after an uncharacteristically shaky outing from starter Jacob deGrom, who needed 88 pitches to get through four innings. The rookie reliever worked into the sixth inning to pick up his first MLB win. Collyer was added to a bullpen that lost two relievers to injury and is unsettled at closer. Despite the early hurdles, the bullpen ranks second in the majors with a 2.78 ERA across 74.1 innings.

Burger went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Friday's 5-0 win over the Mariners.

Burger's hitting streak is up to six games, a span in which he has gone 9-for-24 (.375) with three home runs and 10 RBI. The first baseman is hitting .275 with an .811 OPS, five homers, 17 RBI, 10 runs scored and four doubles across 20 contests this season. Burger's never hit higher than .250 in a full season, so his average may not last throughout the year, but he's in a good spot for run production as the Rangers' primary cleanup hitter.

Santana allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one in the ninth inning in Friday's win over the Rays.

The Pirates were up by two runs at the start of the eighth inning but tacked on two runs in the home half of the frame. That meant Santana didn't work in a save situation, though he's now pitched the ninth inning or 10th inning in six consecutive appearances -- five of which were to end the game. Santana looks to be the Pirates' preferred closing option for the time being, though Gregory Soto will likely mix in occasionally.

Langford went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Friday's 5-0 win over the Mariners.

Langford has gone 6-for-17 over four contests since he returned from a right quad strain. The outfielder is starting to turn around his relatively slow start at the plate. He's batting .214 with a .590 OPS while adding one home run, four RBI, seven runs scored, two doubles, two triples and two stolen bases over 17 games. Langford is regularly hitting second or third in the order, which should give him plenty of chances to produce runs.

Jung went 3-for-5 with three doubles and one RBI in Friday's 5-0 win over the Mariners.

Jung was back to seventh in the batting order Friday, but that didn't cool off his bat. He has hit at least one double in five of his last six games, adding five RBI in that span. The third baseman has four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games. Jung is now hitting .290 on the year with a .795 OPS, one home run, six RBI, six runs scored, seven doubles and no stolen bases over 17 contests.

Soto didn't allow a baserunner across one inning to earn a hold Friday against the Rays.

Soto entered the game in the eighth inning with the Pirates up by two runs. He's remained very sharp all season, allowing only one earned run across 10.2 innings while maintaining a 15:5 K:BB. However, Soto has now pitched in the seventh or eighth inning in five consecutive appearances, suggesting Dennis Santana is the primary option for saves at this point.
