Bassitt did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's loss to Minnesota, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings.

Bassitt worked through five shutout innings before yielding a two-run homer to Luke Keaschall in the sixth. Bassitt was in line for his first win since July 23 before Toronto's bullpen fumbled the lead. He's struggled with his command and control lately; Bassitt has walked multiple batters in five straight outings, registering a 27:14 K:BB over 27 frames during that span. In six starts since his last win, he's produced a 5.22 ERA, raising his season mark to 4.14 over 150 innings. Bassitt is lined up to start in Cincinnati next week.

Hoffman (8-5) yielded four runs on three hits and a walk while taking a loss against the Twins on Tuesday. He recorded two outs and was charged with a blown save.

Hoffman served up a leadoff homer to Mickey Gasper to immediately blow the save opportunity. Matt Wallner then ripped with a three-run shot to put the game out of reach. It's the first time Hoffman has given up more than one run in an outing since he coughed up three runs against the Athletics on July 11. Since then, he had posted a 1.84 ERA over 15 appearances. Hoffman has blown three of his last five save chances and has converted 28 of his 35 chances this season. His ERA jumped to 4.77 through 54.2 innings after Tuesday's rough outing. If his struggles continue, Brendon Little or Yariel Rodriguez could be in line to see some ninth-inning work.

Springer went 4-for-5 with two solo homers and four runs scored in Tuesday's loss to Minnesota.

Springer singled and scored in the first inning before knocking the first of his two home runs in the second. He went deep again in the fifth before ending his big night with another single and run scored in the ninth. Since returning from the injured list, Springer has gone 16-for-42 (.381) with six home runs in 10 games. He's having a terrific bounce-back campaign, slashing .301/.388/.541 with 44 extra-base hits and 79 runs scored through 111 contests.

Ober struggled early Tuesday, coughing up three runs in the first two innings. He served up two solo homers to George Springer, including one in his fifth and final inning of work. Ober is still searching for his first win since May 3 and would've fallen to 4-8 if not for a late comeback by the Twins. Since that last victory, he's 0-6 with a 5.83 ERA across 80.1 frames. For the year, Ober owns a 5.14 ERA with a 96:25 K:BB in 22 starts. He's currently projected to face the White Sox at home next week.

Stanton went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and five RBI in Tuesday's win over Washington.

Stanton accounted for all of the Yankees' offense Tuesday, starting with his bases-clearing double in the third inning. He then belted a two-run shot in the sixth inning for his 17th homer of the year. Stanton has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball since making his season debut June 16; he's slashing .313/.388/.663 with 23 extra-base hits and 46 RBI in just 183 plate appearances. Stanton is 15-for-32 (.469) with seven home runs over his last 11 games.

Gil (2-1) allowed a run on five hits and four walks over five innings Tuesday, striking out five and earning a win over the Nationals.

Gil gave up one run in the third inning but was otherwise able to work around some traffic on the bases. He continues to struggle with his command; since making his season debut Aug. 3, Gil has walked at least three batters in four of his five appearances. However, he's allowed two or fewer runs in four consecutive outings. He generated 12 whiffs Tuesday, marking the second time he's forced double-digit swinging strikes this season. Gil is now sporting a 3.75 ERA with a lackluster 22:17 K:BB through 24 frames. He's currently lined up to face the White Sox in Chicago this weekend.

Enns will serve as the Orioles' opening pitcher for Wednesday's game against Boston, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Enns has pitched in several high-leverage situations since joining the Orioles at the trade deadline, but he'll be taking the hill for at least the first inning of Wednesday's contest. The 34-year-old southpaw has posted a 3.97 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across 11.1 innings with the Orioles, and although he's pitched as many as five innings in an appearance in the majors and six innings in the minors this season, he'll likely only remain in Wednesday's game for a frame or two before handing the game over to bulk reliever Roansy Contreras.

Robert was removed from Tuesday's game against the Royals with left hamstring soreness.

Robert grounded out during his lone plate appearance before his hamstring forced him out of the game in the fourth inning. More details on the severity of his injury should come once the White Sox are finished taking a look at him, but he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Sweeney isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Sweeney will grab a seat on the bench after going 1-for-2 with a strikeout in Monday's game. Zach McKinstry will enter the lineup to start at shortstop while batting seventh.
