Topa notched the save in Friday's 9-7 win over the White Sox, allowing two hits and one walk with no strikeouts in 1.2 scoreless innings.

Topa registered save No. 3 on the year, and each of those have come following the trade deadline. The right-hander appears to have the upper hand over Cole Sands, who worked the seventh inning Friday, in Minnesota's closer committee in the aftermath of the Jhoan Duran trade. Topa has a 0.84 ERA over 10.2 innings in August, whereas Sands owns a 4.50 ERA across his 10 frames this month.

Lewis went 3-for-5 with a grand slam and an additional run scored in Friday's 9-7 win over the White Sox.

Lewis established a season high in RBI, and the three-hit effort was his third of the campaign. It's been another injury-riddled year for the slugging infielder, who is slashing an uneven .233/.293/.378 with seven long balls, 15 doubles and 33 RBI over 273 plate appearances. Lewis still has a clear path to everyday reps at third base the rest of the way, and he's logged a hit in three of his past four outings.

Bergert did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-5 loss to the Tigers, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with five strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Bergert generated 12 whiffs on 90 pitches and left with a 3-1 lead before Angel Zerpa immediately allowed a game-tying homer. The 25-year-old has impressed in four starts with the Royals, pitching into the sixth inning and yielding two earned runs or fewer in each outing. He'll carry a 2.79 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 56:24 K:BB across 58 innings this season into a road matchup with the White Sox next week.

Mangum went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 10-6 win over the Cardinals.

The four-hit game was Mangum's third of the season, and it was just his second contest of the year with multiple extra-base hits. The speedy switch hitter is a strong source of steals -- he has 20 stolen bases over 311 at-bats -- but he's provided very little in the way of power in 2025. Mangum is hitting .283 with two home runs, 14 doubles, 34 RBI and 32 runs scored across 90 outings.

Mize did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-5 win over the Royals, allowing three runs on nine hits and one walk without recording a strikeout over 5.2 innings.

Mize was undone by a three-run third inning and was fortunate overall given he yielded 14 hard-hit balls while managing just three whiffs on 87 pitches. It was a letdown after the 28-year-old notched a season-high 10 punchouts Saturday, and he now sports a 5.34 ERA across six outings since the All-Star break. For the season, he carries a 3.68 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 103:30 K:BB over 117.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Athletics next week.

Williams went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and an additional run scored in Friday's 10-6 win over the Cardinals.

Making his big-league debut, Williams went deep in the seventh inning to give the Rays a 9-6 lead. As long as Ha-Seong Kim (back) is on the 10-day injured list, Williams should be able to handle everyday reps as Tampa Bay's shortstop. Williams slashed a pedestrian .213/.318/.447 with 55 RBI but did launch 23 homers and steal 22 bases over 451 plate appearances with Triple-A Durham in 2025, so fantasy managers in deeper settings can consider adding the rookie infielder for his power and speed potential.

Mayo will undergo X-rays on his right hand after being hit by a pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday against the Astros, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Mayo was hit by a 97-mph fastball from Bryan Abreu but was able to stay in the game. Interim manager Tony Mansolino said after the Orioles' loss that he believes Mayo will be OK, but he'll still undergo scans. Mayo went 1-for-3 with one walk, the hit-by-pitch and one run scored in Friday's contest. He's slashing .201/.280/.348 with five home runs, 19 RBI, 18 runs scored and one stolen base across 182 plate appearances this season.

Fried did not factor into the decision in Friday's 1-0 loss to the Red Sox, allowing four hits and three walks with seven strikeouts over six scoreless innings.

Fried racked up 19 whiffs on 99 pitches but got no help from the Yankees' offense. It was just his second quality start in six outings since the All-Star break. The southpaw will take a 3.14 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 148:40 K:BB across 155 innings into a home matchup with the Nationals next week.

Bello (10-6) earned the win against the Yankees on Friday, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out five over seven scoreless innings.

Bello managed just seven whiffs on 92 pitches but limited hard contact and outlasted Max Fried to notch his fourth win in his past five outings. Over that stretch, the 26-year-old has logged four quality starts, allowing only three earned runs across his victories while being tagged for five in his lone loss. He'll carry a 3.07 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 102:46 K:BB through 135 innings into a road matchup with the Orioles next week.

Chapman earned the save in Friday's 1-0 win over the Yankees, striking out two in a perfect ninth inning.

Chapman was handed a one-run lead in the ninth and slammed the door on just 10 pitches. The 37-year-old has now strung together 12 straight scoreless outings since July 26, as he continues to turn back the clock in dominant fashion. For the year, he's 24-for-26 in save chances with a 1.08 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 71:14 K:BB across 50 innings.
