Campero is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

After a stretch of six consecutive starts during which he went 4-for-17 with a home run and three stolen bases, Campero will now head to the bench for the fourth contest in a row. The Angels still have an opening in their everyday outfield while Jorge Soler (back) is on the shelf, but interim manager Ray Montgomery has been prioritizing Bryce Teodosio ahead of Campero, largely due to the superior defense that Teodosio provides in center field.

Feduccia is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Angels.

Feduccia and Nick Fortes have split the Rays' catching duties evenly since the former was added to the roster this past Friday. Fortes will be behind the dish and bat ninth in Wednesday's series finale.

The Astros transferred Paredes (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for right-hander Spencer Arrighetti (thumb), who was activated from the 60-day IL ahead of his start Wednesday against the Marlins. Paredes has a significant right hamstring strain but has decided against surgery and will attempt to return later this season. He is now eligible for activation Sept. 19.

Pena is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Miami.

According to Chandler Rome of The Athletic, manager Joe Espada said that Pena will get a scheduled day off as "part of his buildup" after the shortstop recently overcame rib and hamstring injuries. Espada added that he expects Pena to resume handling an everyday role in the Astros' series against the Yankees this weekend. Houston will turn to Mauricio Dubon to start at shortstop in Pena's stead Wednesday.

Judge (elbow) could return to playing the outfield "sometime towards the weekend or early next week," Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

Judge returned to the Yankees' lineup at designated hitter Tuesday and on Wednesday played catch for the first time since being diagnosed with a right flexor strain, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports. While the Yankees have not revealed a timeline for Judge's return to right field, it sounds like it might come soon. Judge playing the field would allow the Yankees to put Giancarlo Stanton back in the DH slot.

Barger is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

With a lefty (Kyle Freeland) on the hill for the Rockies and with the Blue Jays wrapping up their series in Denver with a day game after a night game, Toronto manager John Schneider likely viewed it as an opportune time to give the left-handed-hitting Barger a breather. Barger had started in each of the Blue Jays' last 15 games, slashing .219/.275/.438 with three home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs during that stretch.

Heineman (head) will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

Heineman exited his most recent start Saturday due to a head contusion, but he avoided a concussion and made enough improvement to play the final two innings of Monday's 15-1 win. He'll make his return to the starting lineup Wednesday, but Heineman is expected to see few opportunities moving forward after top backstop Alejandro Kirk was reinstated from the 7-day injured list Sunday.

Tellez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

The left-handed-hitting Tellez will retreat to the bench for the second time in the series while the Rangers face another left-handed starter (Carlos Rodon). Tellez had started at first base in each of Texas' previous five matchups against right-handers, but he could see his opportunities to play versus opposite-handed pitching dwindle once Josh Jung is ready to play third base after a recent bout with a calf injury. Josh Smith will cover third base Wednesday while Jung serves as a designated hitter for his second start in a row, but Smith is likely to eventually move back across the diamond.

The Astros optioned Blubaugh to Triple-A Sugar Land on Wednesday.

The transaction comes one day after Blubaugh picked up his first major-league victory, allowing two runs over five frames against the Marlins in a bulk-relief appearance. Blubaugh will rejoin the rotation at Sugar Land and could get another opportunity in the big leagues later this season if the Astros need a starter.

Pederson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

The left-handed-hitting Pederson will head to the bench for the second time in the series while the Yankees send another southpaw (Carlos Rodon) to the bump. Josh Jung will step in for Pederson as the Rangers' designated hitter.
