Royals manager Matt Quatraro said that India is being held out of Wednesday's lineup against Atlanta due to a sore shoulder, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Quatraro added that India will be available off the bench and should be back in the lineup Friday following the team's scheduled off day Thursday. The Royals will start Adam Frazier at second base Wednesday.

Neto went 1-for-3 with a double, a run, an RBI and two stolen bases Tuesday in an 8-5 win against Texas.

Neto was hit by a pitch to begin the Angels' half of the first inning, and then moved himself into scoring position by stealing second base. He crossed the plate later in that frame before knocking in a run with a double in the sixth, which was followed by another theft. The talented young shortstop has been active on the basepaths since the start of the campaign's second half, swiping four bags in five attempts over 12 games. He's up to 21 steals this season and is one of 10 players in the majors with at least 15 homers and 20 steals.

Jackson tossed two scoreless innings of relief with two strikeouts in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Jackson made his Detroit debut Sunday and promptly allowed four runs while walking three batters and only retiring two. His second appearance with his new team was much more promising, however, and the righty lowered his season ERA to 4.78. Jackson still projects as a low-leverage arm with the Tigers, and he's unlikely to make a significant fantasy impact.

Hurter (3-3) tossed 3.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. He allowed one hit and struck out three.

Detroit starter Casey Mize only lasted 1.2 innings during an uneven outing, but Hurter righted the ship for the Tigers and then scooped up the win as the team cruised to an easy 12-2 victory. After a rough patch in late June and into early July, the lefty has been better lately, compiling 9.2 scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts over his last four appearances. Overall, Hurter has a strong 2.68 ERA to go along with 58 strikeouts across 53.2 innings this season, making him one of the Tigers' better bullpen options.

Campbell is slashing .481/.548/.852 with three home runs and a 5:4 K:BB over 31 plate appearances across his last seven games with Triple-A Worcester.

Campbell had posted a .645 OPS and 34 percent strikeout rate in his first 22 contests after being optioned to Worcester, but he appears to have found his rhythm at the plate. The 23-year-old has also been used primarily at first base lately with Worcester, and it's at that position where he has the best chance to impact the Red Sox in the final two months of the season.

Pena (rib) will play shortstop in a rehab game with Triple-A Sugar Land on Wednesday and could return from the 10-day injured list Friday for the start of the Astros' series in Boston, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Pena occupied the designated-hitter spot for Sugar Land on Tuesday in his first rehab game, going 0-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored. He'll play the field Wednesday, and as long as everything checks out well, he should be activated from the IL on Friday. Pena has been shelved since late June with a small rib fracture.

Torres went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Torres was one of three Detroit players to go deep in the rout, launching his 11th home run of the season in the fifth inning. It's the second long ball in the last three days for the infielder, who is enjoying a strong debut campaign with the Tigers. Across 96 games, Torres is slashing .278/.379/.423 with 50 RBI and 55 runs scored.

Perez (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Perez has been sidelined since mid-April with a left flexor strain but has made excellent progress in his rehab program and has now reached the final phase of his recovery process. Given the length of his absence, Perez is sure to require a handful of rehab starts prior to being activated from the 60-day injured list, but he could be back in the White Sox's rotation by late August if all goes well. Before landing on the shelf, Perez went 1-1 with a 3.15 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB in 20 innings.

France is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

Byron Buxton's injured ribcage has indirectly reopened more playing time of late for France, who had started in six of the previous seven games while going 7-for-19 with three doubles, four walks, three runs and two RBI. France is on an expiring deal and doesn't fit into the Twins' long-term plans, so the 31-year-old could be a candidate to be dealt elsewhere ahead of Thursday's deadline. With France out of the lineup for the final game before the deadline, Kody Clemens will shift back over to first base after making his previous two starts at second base.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that Gimenez (ankle) is scheduled to run the bases Friday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

If all goes well in the running workout, Gimenez could be cleared to begin a rehab assignment. He's missed most of July with a left ankle sprain but could be ready to rejoin the Blue Jays' 26-man active roster in early August if he continues to make good progress in his recovery.
