Latz earned a save against the Angels on Monday, issuing one walk and striking out one batter over one scoreless inning.

Latz entered in the bottom of the 10th inning with Texas up 4-1. He had to grind a bit, working around a one-out walk and throwing 24 total pitches, but the right-hander was able to get three outs without allowing any runs. Latz lowered his season ERA to a sterling 1.83 and is now up to 23 saves, sixth-most in the American League.

Gore allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Monday.

Gore was dominant in the outing, racking up 22 swinging strikes and nine punchouts. However, he needed 103 pitches to get through 5.1 frames, and the Rangers' offense didn't come to life until the 10th inning, so he had to settle for a no-decision. Regardless, Gore tied his second-highest strikeout total of the campaign and has now given up just one earned run over 11.1 frames across his past two starts. He's lined up to make his next start on the road against the Athletics.

McNeil went 2-for-4 with one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 10-6 loss to the Rays.

McNeil has logged a steal in three straight contests, doubling his total to six for the year. The veteran infielder is currently holding down a strong-side platoon role at first base, sharing the position with Tommy White in the absence of Nick Kurtz (thumb), who is out indefinitely. McNeil is batting .254 with a .643 OPS, four home runs, six steals, 36 RBI, 32 runs scored and 13 doubles over 357 plate appearances this season, though it's a positive sign that he has a clear path to playing time.

Soderstrom went 1-for-5 with a double, one RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 10-6 loss to the Rays.

Soderstrom was able to steal home after Carlos Cortes forced the Rays into an error when he swiped second. Soderstrom has yet to be held hitless in August, going 10-for-34 (.294) over nine games this month, adding seven extra-base hits and six RBI. For the season, the outfielder is batting .245 with an .812 OPS, 19 home runs, 56 RBI, 57 runs scored, 26 doubles, three triples and two steals over 107 games.

Gelof went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an RBI double and a second run scored in Monday's 10-6 loss to the Rays.

Gelof missed a month due to a knee injury, and he wasted no time in making an impact with a pair of extra-base hits. He's had a decent campaign interrupted by a couple of injuries. On the year, he's batting .277 with an .823 OPS, 12 homers, 31 RBI, 43 runs scored, 12 doubles, one triple and eight stolen bases over 68 contests. Gelof looks poised for the lion's share of the playing time at third base, though Tommy White and Max Muncy will also be in the mix there as the Athletics' infield remains crowded.

Lopez allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Rays on Monday.

Lopez put forth his longest outing of the season, and it was one of his better performances as well. The Athletics weren't able to hang onto the lead when the bullpen took over, as Seth Johnson and Jose Suarez combined to allow eight runs in the eighth inning. Lopez has allowed eight runs (seven earned) over 26.2 innings across five starts since he re-entered the rotation after the All-Star break. For the year, he's at a 5.38 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 75:44 K:BB through 82 innings across 19 games (16 starts). Lopez's recent pitching is encouraging, but he remains a risky option in fantasy due to a hitter-friendly home park. His next outing is projected to be at home versus the Rangers.

DeLuca went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 10-6 win over the Athletics.

This was DeLuca's second multi-hit effort over his last seven games. He has gone 8-for-24 (.333) with two home runs and three steals in that span, providing a decent mix of production despite his part-time role. For the season, he's hitting .266 with a .738 OPS, eight homers, 13 steals, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored and 15 doubles over 234 plate appearances. DeLuca is a right-handed-hitting option to complement lefties Cedric Mullins and Victor Mesa as a platoon partner, though DeLuca's also found his way into the lineup against some same-handed pitching.

Simpson went 2-for-5 with one RBI, one run scored and two stolen bases in Monday's 10-6 win over the Athletics.

Simpson has been performing at a high level in August, going 17-for-37 (.459) at the plate and 6-for-6 on the basepaths. The outfielder is now hitting .305 with a .696 OPS, 33 steals, 24 RBI, 49 runs scored, 12 doubles, six triples and no home runs over 111 contests. Simpson is unlikely to ever generate much power, but his speed has value when he's getting on base as much as he has lately.

Caminero went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Monday's 10-6 win over the Athletics.

Caminero had gone 0-for-10 with three walks and four strikeouts during the Rays' three-game series in Seattle over the weekend. A move to a more favorable hitting environment worked well for the third baseman, whose homer pulled the Rays within a run during their eighth-inning rally. Caminero is up to 34 homers on the year while batting .277 with a .917 OPS. He's added 74 RBI, 72 runs scored, 18 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 118 contests.

Diaz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a second RBI and two total runs scored in Monday's 10-6 win over the Athletics.

Diaz has collected seven hits over his last two games. He started this contest with a homer on Jacob Lopez's second pitch of the game. Diaz has hit .235 since the All-Star break, adding three homers and 12 RBI over 23 games in that span. For the season, the 35-year-old is batting .302 with an .835 OPS, 16 homers, 67 RBI, 64 runs scored, 21 doubles, one triple and three stolen bases over 113 contests.
