Lee went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Monday's 7-3 win over the Yankees.

Lee is starting to trend upward, as he's now batting .356 over his last 15 games, and he's tallied five multi-hit performances during that time. The rookie is getting an extended look at second base with Gleyber Torres (oblique) on the injured list. Lee should return to the bench or possibly Triple-A Toledo once Torres is healthy, but for now, Lee is worth a look in deeper formats as long as he stays hot, and his dynasty value seems to be increasing as well.

McGonigle went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Monday's 7-3 win over the Yankees.

McGonigle now has at least one hit in 19 of the 24 games he's played this month, and he's batting .281 overall in June, which is right in line with his .284 average for the season. The rookie has been incredibly consistent and productive thus far, and while he did strike out twice Monday, he has only 50 of them across 306 at-bats in 82 contests. The Tigers also batted McGonigle third Monday for just the fifth time this year after he's mostly served as the leadoff man, at least recently. A more permanent move down a few spots in the order could allow the youngster to tally more RBI, though it may slightly decrease how often he comes around to score.

Mize (3-5) earned the win Monday against the Yankees, allowing no runs on one hit and no walks in seven innings. He struck out 10.

After giving up a season-worst eight hits his last time out against the Yankees, Mize bounced back in a huge way during Monday's rematch. The 29-year-old right-hander fanned a season-high 10 in his longest outing of the year, also surrendering a season-low one hit on the evening. Mize will be looking to build on Monday's showing this weekend in Texas, where he'll take an outstanding 2.63 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 68:14 K:BB across 65 innings.

Varland secured the save Monday against the Mets, allowing no runs on one hit and one walk in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out two.

The Mets made Varland work, getting the potential tying and go-ahead runs aboard, but Varland got Ronny Mauricio to strike out to seal the win for Toronto. The hard-throwing right-hander has been a lights-out closer for the Blue Jays since claiming the gig from Jeff Hoffman earlier this year, going a pristine 17-for-17 in save situations. Through 46 innings, Varland boasts a 0.98 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 64:13 K:BB.

Yesavage (4-3) earned the win Monday against the Mets, allowing one run on three hits and no walks in 6.2 innings. He struck out three.

Yesavage had a hard time finding the zone, matching a season low in punchouts while tossing just 57 of his 94 offerings for strikes, but he hung in there for a strong outing overall. The 22-year-old right-hander remains incredibly difficult to hit, giving up fewer than six knocks in each of his first 12 starts for a .185 opponent batting average. Yesavage is slated to finish a two-start week this weekend in Seattle, where he'll bring a 3.34 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 61:30 K:BB over 67.1 innings.

The Yankees announced that Chisholm has been placed in concussion protocol after exiting Monday's game against the Tigers in the fourth inning following a collision with teammate Jasson Dominguez.

He struck out in his lone at-bat before leaving the game. The Yankees haven't confirmed that Chisholm sustained a concussion, but he'll need to pass all the steps of the league's protocol before returning to the diamond. Oswaldo Cabrera came off the bench to replace Chisholm at second base Monday, though Amed Rosario and Jose Caballero could also factor into the mix for playing time at the position if Chisholm misses additional time.

Tiger (elbow) has allowed four earned runs on six hits and no walks while striking out six batters over 3.2 innings in two appearances for High-A Hub City since being reinstated from the 60-day injured list June 21.

Tiger turned in a 2.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 14:2 K:BB across 6.2 frames over four rehab appearances in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League before being cleared to make his 2026 debut for Hub City. The right-hander missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing an internal brace procedure on his right elbow in September 2024.

Thomas will start in left field and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Dodgers.

The right-handed-hitting Thomas will stick in the lineup for a third straight game while the Athletics face another lefty starter (Eric Lauer), but the 25-year-old could begin to get more looks versus right-handed pitching, too. The Athletics deactivated Tyler Soderstrom (hip) and Jacob Wilson (thumb) on Monday, with the two joining Brent Rooker (knee) and Zack Gelof (hand) on a growing injured list. Thomas could end up serving as the primary replacement in left field for Soderstrom, though the Athletics might prefer to give Carlos Cortes another look in a strong-side platoon run.

Gomez (shoulder) was activated from the 7-day injured list June 20.

Gomez missed nearly two months of action while on the mend from a right shoulder strain. He's made two appearances for Triple-A Columbus since being activated, surrendering two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out 14 over eight innings.

McNeil is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

With a lefty (Eric Lauer) on the bump for the Dodgers, the left-handed-hitting McNeil will be given a break after he started in each of the Athletics' last five games. Joshua Kuroda-Grauer will replace McNeil at second base and will bat ninth.
