Duran is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Duran went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Tuesday's 5-2 win, leaving him hitless over his last four starts and bringing his season-long average down to .199, which places him 150th among the majors' 153 qualified hitters. The left-handed-hitting Duran's fortunes were unlikely to take a turn for the better with southpaw Kyle Freeland on the mound Wednesday, so the struggling outfielder will head to the bench after a stretch of 46 consecutive starts. Nate Eaton will take over Duran's spot in left field and will bat leadoff.

The Yankees recalled Cabrera from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.

He's taking the roster spot vacated by Ryan McMahon, who was moved to the injured list due to a throat infection. Cabrera missed all of the 2025 season while recovering from ankle surgery and had spent all of 2026 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to this point, slashing.271/.330/.397 with seven home runs and six steals in 68 games. Cabrera could see some action at third base while McMahon is shelved.

The Twins recalled Funderburk from Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday.

Funderburk will provide the Twins with another left-handed option out of the bullpen in what will be his third stint of the season with the big club. He's notched six holds and one save while pitching to a 3.44 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 10:16 K:BB in 18.1 innings over 21 appearances with Minnesota.

The Twins recalled Raya from Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday.

Though Raya has been a member of the Twins' 40-man roster since the start of last season, Wednesday marks the first big-league call-up for 23-year-old righty. After working as a starter for most of his minor-league career, Raya had made a full-time shift to the bullpen at Triple-A this season and produced a 5.54 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 39:12 K:BB in 39 innings. Raya covered two-plus innings in 13 of his appearances with St. Paul, so he should be available to work as a long man out of the Minnesota bullpen.

The Yankees placed McMahon on the 10-day injured list Wednesday due to a throat infection.

Per Jack Curry of YES Network, McMahon is also recovering from an ear infection. McMahon hadn't played since Sunday, and with the Yankees' upcoming schedule being heavy against left-handed pitching, the decision was made to put the lefty-swinging third baseman on the shelf. He's expected to return from the IL when first eligible July 3. Jose Caballero, Amed Rosario and Oswaldo Cabrera could share the third-base job while McMahon is out.

Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run in a 4-3 win over Detroit on Tuesday.

Chisholm produced half of New York's runs in the victory with a two-run blast to right-center field in the sixth inning. The long ball was his 12th of the season, and the veteran infielder has been flashing more power of late with three homers over his past seven games. Chisholm is batting just .203 with a 30.3 percent strikeout rate through 19 contests in June, but he's nonetheless put up good fantasy production thanks to six home runs, 13 RBI, 16 runs and nine stolen bases.

The Twins optioned Rojas to Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday.

Minnesota moved Rojas to the minors and designated right-hander Austin Voth for assignment after the two pitchers covered the first six innings of Tuesday's 12-3 loss to the Dodgers. Prior to making the two-inning start for Minnesota, Rojas hadn't pitched for the big club since late May after he had been shelved due to triceps inflammation. The Twins will likely have the young lefty get further stretched out as a member of the rotation at Triple-A.

Arias is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the White Sox.

Arias will be on the bench for a second straight day after he started the previous two games but went 0-for-9 with seven strikeouts between those contests. Even though Jose Ramirez's (hand) move to the injured list June 14 has opened up a spot in the lineup at third base, Arias may have to settle for being part of a timeshare at the position with Daniel Schneemann, who receives the starting nod Wednesday.

Halpin is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the White Sox.

Halpin had started each of the previous four contests in center field, but he will begin Wednesday's game on the bench. Steven Kwan will cover center field Wednesday, and David Fry will patrol left field.

Rogers gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits in one inning of relief Tuesday to take his third blown save of the season in an extra-innings loss to the Astros.

With Louis Varland getting some rest after throwing 40 pitches while working two of the prior three days, manager John Schneider had to look to other high-leverage options in a close game. Jeff Hoffman got the final two outs in the eighth inning with the score tied 4-4, and after the Blue Jays took a two-run lead in the bottom of that frame, Rogers got the call in the top of the ninth. The veteran right-hander couldn't close the door, giving up back-to-back singles to Jose Altuve and Yordan Alvarez to begin the inning and watching both eventually come around to score on a catcher's interference call and a sacrifice fly. The earned run was the first on Rogers' ledger since May 25, although he did get tagged for five unearned runs against the Cubs on June 19. On the season, he sports a 1.91 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 20:12 K:BB over 37.2 innings with one win, two saves and 17 holds, and he may be due for some rest of his own -- only teammates Mason Fluharty (42 appearances) and Braydon Fisher (40) have appeared in more games this season than Rogers.
