Henderson went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three total RBI in Wednesday's 11-2 win over the Rays.

After Taylor Ward drew a leadoff walk in the first inning, Henderson wasted no time giving Baltimore the lead with a two-run homer off Steven Matz. He later added another long ball in the sixth inning for his first multi-homer game of the season. The star shortstop has started to heat up at the plate lately, batting 14-for-33 (.424) with three homers over his last 10 games. Henderson now has 13 home runs on the year and is slashing .222/.274/.440 with 10 doubles, one triple, 29 RBI, 30 runs scored and six stolen bases across 252 plate appearances.

Pederson went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs and a third run scored in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Astros.

Pederson and opposing designated hitter Yordan Alvarez stole the show, each hitting two homers in the contest. Pederson has gone 10-for-23 (.435) with three homers and six RBI over his last eight games. He's now batting .250 with a .791 OPS, six long balls, 16 RBI, 20 runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases over 51 contests this season. The 34-year-old should continue to fill a strong-side platoon role at DH while routinely hitting leadoff when in the lineup.

DeGrom allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Wednesday.

DeGrom had given up 10 runs over nine innings across his last two starts. He was much sharper Wednesday while picking up his fourth quality start of the campaign, though he didn't get enough run support to get back in the win column. DeGrom has allowed 18 runs across 28.1 innings over five starts in May, a major step back compared to his dominant performance in April. Overall, the veteran right-hander has a 3.77 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 70:12 K:BB through 59.2 innings over 11 starts. He's been partly held back by virtue of allowing 13 homers so far this season, which is already half as many as he gave up in 172.2 innings during the 2025 regular season. DeGrom will look to get back on track in his next start, which is projected to be on the road versus the Cardinals early next week.

Gibson (1-0) earned the win Wednesday against the Rays, allowing one run on six hits and four walks while striking out one over 5.2 innings.

Making just the second start of his MLB career, the right-hander threw 57 of his 100 pitches for strikes and stranded multiple runners throughout the outing, including working out of a bases-loaded jam in the third inning. He carried a scoreless outing into the sixth before allowing back-to-back baserunners, and a subsequent groundout plated Tampa Bay's lone run. Baltimore's offense gave him plenty of support by scoring eight runs before he exited, helping Gibson secure his first career MLB victory.

Alvarez went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a walk in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

Alvarez has feasted on Texas pitching in this series, going 6-for-12 with five homers and eight RBI over the last three games. He's recorded his two multi-homer games of the year over the last two contests and is up to 20 long balls on the year. The slugger is batting .312 with a 1.085 OPS, 39 RBI, 36 runs scored, one stolen base and 11 doubles across 56 games in what has started out as an MVP-caliber season.

De Los Santos struck out three over 1.2 perfect innings to earn the save in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.

This was De Los Santos' first save in over a month. He got the nod in the eighth inning after Bryan King struggled mightily to open the frame. A rough patch in late April seemingly cost De Los Santos consistent high-leverage work, but he's gotten back in the mix by allowing just two runs (one earned) over 9.2 innings in his last nine appearances. He's at a 3.57 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 21:4 K:BB with four saves and four holds over 22.2 innings this season. His time competing with King and Bryan Abreu for regular save chances is nearing an end, as Josh Hader (biceps) is expected back in the first week of June.

Burrows (3-6) allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win over the Rangers on Wednesday.

Burrows threw 64 of 91 pitches for strikes as he matched his longest outing of the season. It's been an inconsistent May for the right-hander, who has allowed 16 runs across 31.2 innings over his five starts this month. He also has a 21:9 K:BB with two hit batsmen in that span. For the season, Burrows is at a 5.40 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 54:21 K:BB through 63.1 innings in his first year with the Astros. His next start is projected to be at home against his former team, the Pirates.

McMahon went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Royals.

McMahon had been on the bench for the previous two games, presumably for matchup-related reasons. He's not struggling right now -- the third baseman has gone 6-for-21 (.286) with two homers, five RBI and a stolen base over his last six contests. On the season, he's hitting just .199 with a .594 OPS, five homers, 18 RBI, 14 runs scored, three steals and four doubles across 51 contests. McMahon has primarily worked as a strong-side platoon option this season. If his overall numbers don't improve, he could cede some time to Amed Rosario, who has an .835 OPS over 45 plate appearances versus right-handed pitchers despite being McMahon's main platoon partner at the hot corner.

Matz (4-2) took the loss Wednesday against the Orioles, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over three innings.

Things unraveled quickly for Matz in the opening inning. After issuing a leadoff walk, the left-hander surrendered a two-run homer to Gunnar Henderson before allowing five of the next six batters to reach base, leading to a five-run frame. Matz managed to complete just two more innings afterward, and the six runs allowed marked a season high. After he had held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in six of his previous eight starts, the southpaw now owns a 4.67 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 35:17 K:BB across 44.1 innings. Matz's next start projects to come against the Tigers early next week.

Cole (1-0) scattered four hits and struck out 10 without walking a batter over 6.2 shutout innings to earn the win over the Royals on Wednesday.

This was Cole's second start since his return from Tommy John surgery. The right-hander has had limits on his workload over his first two starts this year, but it's hardly noticeable with how efficient he's been so far. Cole threw 59 of 79 pitches for strikes Wednesday and has logged 12.2 scoreless frames with a 12:3 K:BB over his first two starts. Cole should push into the 80-to-90-pitch range for his next outing, which is tentatively projected to come at home versus the Guardians next week.
