Gasser (triceps) will make a start Friday for Triple-A Nashville, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Gasser's last start came on April 10, as he was slowed for a bit by left triceps soreness. The southpaw has made two appearances for Nashville this season, allowing four runs with a 15:4 K:BB over nine innings of work.

Chourio (hand) will hit on the field Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

It will be the first time Chourio has hit on the field since he landed on the 10-day injured list before the season following left hamate bone surgery. Chourio should be cleared for a rehab assignment soon if he continues to progress, and the goal remains for the outfielder to rejoin the Brewers' active roster in early May.

Crawford is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.

It marks the third time over the Phillies' last four games versus left-handers that the lefty-swinging Crawford has been on the bench. He had been in the lineup for six of his team's first seven games against southpaws. Brandon Marsh will occupy center field Tuesday, while Felix Reyes gets the start in left field.

Reyes will start in left field and bat cleanup in Tuesday's contest versus the Cubs.

Reyes has started against both lefties his team has faced since he was promoted and will get a turn in the cleanup spot Tuesday as the struggling Phillies try something different with their batting order. Brandon Marsh will shift over to center field Tuesday, and Justin Crawford will begin the contest on the bench.

Realmuto (back) will start at catcher and bat sixth in Tuesday's game against the Cubs.

Realmuto missed each of the previous two contests with back soreness, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in the second game of a four-game set. The veteran catcher enters play Tuesday with a .280/.368/.380 batting line in 57 plate appearances this season.

Manager Carlos Mendoza announced Tuesday that Scott will be called up from Triple-A Syracuse to start Thursday's game against the Twins, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander surrendered six earned runs over 3.1 innings during his season debut with Syracuse on April 3, but he has a 1.74 ERA, 0.58 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB over 10.1 frames in his past two Triple-A starts. Scott is now set to make his first MLB start since 2024, which is when he made his big-league debut with nine starts before requiring Tommy John surgery with an internal brace.

Snell (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Ontario on Wednesday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Snell has finally been cleared to pitch in a game after completing a live batting practice session last week. The left-hander will likely need most, if not all, of the allotted 30 days on his rehab assignment, which would set him up for a season debut in mid-to-late May. Snell is coming back from left shoulder fatigue.

The Phillies recalled Rangel from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.

Rangel has made four starts for Lehigh Valley this season, turning in a 1.66 ERA and 18:10 K:BB over 21.2 frames. The right-hander will offer the Phillies' bullpen some protection, but his stay in the big leagues could be brief.

The Phillies optioned Johnson to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.

Johnson made two scoreless appearances during his most recent stint in the majors. However, he pitched each of the previous two days, so the Phillies will replace him with a fresh bullpen arm.

Acuna (hand) is starting in right field and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Nationals.

Acuna exited Monday's contest after being struck in the left hand by a pitch, but he's back in the lineup a day later after X-rays came back negative. The 28-year-old outfielder has a .304/.418/.500 slash line with four doubles, a triple, a homer, two steals, three RBI and nine runs in his past 12 games as he's bounced back from a slow start to the campaign.
